If you contact BW3's prior to the game and ask them, they should be able to help you.. OhioSabreFan2 and myself both went to the University of Dayton. Make sure you eat at the Pine club and go to Tims on Brown Street for late night boozing.

Be glad you aren't in St. Augustine, Fla. for any of the games - we had some slim pickings there for games 5 & 6 vs. Ottawa. We found a grand total of about 3 places that were showing the games, and ended up watching most of game 6 at this little sports bar in the heart of the historic downtown area, but it was a struggle to find even that...

(BTW - sorry I don't know about Dayton - just wanted to vent a little...)

yeah, well my dad was driving back to wisconsin after my college graduation and stopped at a holiday inn express in west virginia so he could catch the sabres/sens game #5. he made sure to find one that had OLN, and when he went to watch the game it wasn't on. for some reason OLN in west virginia didn't show the game, only hunting and fishing shows.

Goes back to Comcast's war to have OLN made a lower tier channel. For systems that make it a higher tier channel, Comcast blacks out the NHL games.

You could head downtown to Brixx- its right across the street from the baseball stadium. Great beer selection, including Genee, and all brand new flat screens. Food is OK, and the bartenders will turn the game on any TV you want. In Dayton, you could go to any bar at 2 and watch the game on NBC.

Well, as long as you're in the area, be sure to pick up some Skyline right next door to Tim's! And Milano's subs rival anything you'll find in Buffalo.

Good Luck!!! I am a WNY native who went to college in Dayton, OH at the University of Dayton during the 1999 cup run. If the game wasn't on ESPN, I wasn't able to watch it. I would sit in my room listening to it on the computer. I know that all of the Buffalo Wings branches. Follow some of other posts. You might try Damons on Stroop Rd too.

I have had luck at Buffalo Wild Wings when the games are on CBC.

Skyline is no longer there.. They knocked it down to rebuild Milano's into "Super" Milano's.

Ouch! That was a great late night munchie spot - I oughta know - I worked there and was in the position of giving out free grub  ! Good to see a bunch of UD Alum Sabres fans though :D

Guys, thanks so much. I was really worrying I would miss Game 4, but it sounds like there will be some options. The wedding isn't until Sunday, but I'm meeting up with some buddies from college to do some serious boozing Friday. Of course, I want to make sure that the boozing involves watching the Sabres too, haha.

RockDJ, if you're hanging out with those girls from your avatar, we'll have to give you a call, haha.
