OhioSabreFan Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Did he pronounce every players name wrong that he mentioned like he did after Sens-Sabres Game 3 on MSG's shootout?
DWarner Posted May 16, 2006 Author Report Posted May 16, 2006 Lots of good stuff about the Sabs. Said the Canes only advantage on paper may be a 2 way forward like Brindamour. Said Kalinin had a hairline fracture and is still out a while. Said Connolly's baseline tests the day after the hit were normal and he could be back in this series. Said he was too slow to play in the current NHL and happy he retired. And some other stuff... Who is this Pomerville guy?? XM usually replays interviews later in the day or the next day, so stay tuned.
Dan Gross Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Did he pronounce every players name wrong that he mentioned like he did after Sens-Sabres Game 3 on MSG's shootout? That young kid Derek Roo-ah is playing well...
OhioSabreFan Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Haha.. Wait, I know a Dan Gross, he went to Marshall U in WV
Dan Gross Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Haha.. Wait, I know a Dan Gross, he went to Marshall U in WV Not I....SUNY Fredonia...
X. Benedict Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Said Connolly's baseline tests the day after the hit were normal and he could be back in this series. Said he was too slow to play in the current NHL and happy he retired. And some other stuff... Interesting. If that is true, I wonder if Tim has a cracked collarbone.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Well the rule is he has to be 7 days symptom free before he can practice ... just because the baseline tests were normal (which would be GREAT news), if he had a headache on Sunday he would not be able to hit the ice until the following Sunday ... but again, if the tests are normal that is HUGE for a guy with a history ...
X. Benedict Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Well the rule is he has to be 7 days symptom free before he can practice . A rule that is enforced by the honor system, however.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Well yeah but obviouosly they are following it, especially with his history.
Wild Jay Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 A rule that is enforced by the honor system, however. It's actually just an advisable league guideline and not a rule at all, that according to WGR 550 after they contacted the league office a few weeks back after the R.J. Umberger hit.
BRH Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Said the Canes only advantage on paper may be a 2 way forward like Brindamour. Wow, how will we ever match that? I wish we had a forward who scored 30 goals, was fourth in the NHL in faceoff percentage, kills penalties, plays on the first PP unit, shut down the Forsberg line in the first series, and blocked almost as many shots in the last series as the entire Ottawa forward corps. Oh wait.
inkman Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Not I....SUNY Fredonia... Me too. Class of '94. Business manager of the Leader. When were you there?
Rabbit151 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 BRH, you must be talking about Thomas Vanek, right.
Dan Gross Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Me too. Class of '94. Business manager of the Leader. When were you there? Barely overlapped. Class of '91. (sorry for the hijack).
DWarner Posted May 18, 2006 Author Report Posted May 18, 2006 They just had Danny Gare on. Said more good things about the boys. Mentioned his fantasy camp www.hockeyintherockies.com about 10 times. Him and Espo were having a good time.
