I'm very unsure to be honest.

Peterka reminds me too much of Jeff Skinner is his hot/cold streaks, lack of defensive posture and size.

Offering him over 8mil a year all but guarantees Tuch is gone and places some degree of an albatross on our cap situation.

Bridge prove it deal because those 7x7 plus deals have worked so well.  Until he learns how to play D he is a incomplete player.

They have no interest in more picks if they don’t match, and will be unable to trade the player if they do. Which would effectively eat up a large portion of their cap space and handcuff them in terms of what they can do in the off-season.

Unless they are truly intent on running it back and keeping both regardless of the cost, it really seems that it’s in their best interest to sign or trade at least one of them before July 1 in order to retain some control and freedom to exercise other moves after July 1.

There are definately decisions to be made here... quite honestly disappointed that Adams is apparently going to be making them.

Agree, but this happens when you have Jeff Skinner dead cap money, plus almost 14M tied up in Mattias, Zucker and Greenway combined.

I don't like that Greenway contract at all. Even without the injuries it seems like a 4M per year for a third to 4th line player might not be the best option.

This legitimately is the most mind blowing thing of all... the concept of Adams not only building a team of losers but handing out these contracts with zero results and putting us against the cap wall...  the only people on earth that can be this inept/wrong at their jobs and still employed are Politicians and Weather Forecasters....
