Since they play to a respectable level when the season is at the end and the games really do not mean much, they should start the season that way!  Maybe a philosophy change - We are out of the playoffs starting game one.

Don’t really like these types of polls cause I don’t want to vote “no” outright so far in advance. It’s just setting up for a “see! They proved you wrong!” which i understand would be coming, at some point, even if it took Adams until his 20th year. Never mind the concept of the appropriate turnover time for fielding a playoff team being way past, already well in the rear view as of now

zero reason to believe anything will be different next year. Unknown is Norris, but even if plays 82 games at all star level we still have issues playing defense and mediocre goaltending

Belief is an article of faith. This is my 50 year anniversary of becoming a Sabres fan. I have learned to not believe anything about an upcoming season. I have no belief they will make or miss.

Feel has to wait until the offseason dust settles.

All that said, I think right at the moment I would be more surprised if they missed again than if they made it. You just can't go 15 years. You can't, right? Hello?

Impossible to answer until I see what transpires in the off-season.  Right now the odds don’t look good.  Adams and Ruff will be returning and the entire failed roster except Reimer is under contract or control.

This includes the following players who had a negative impact on the team this season including Power, Clifton, Samuelsson, UPL, Malenstyn, Lafferty, Greenway, Bryson and Norris (who got injured for the season 3 games after being acquired).  Krebs and Quinn were marginally positive players and only because of the low salaries.  So basically 50% of the team had zero or a negative impact on the team this season.  Hard to win that way.  
 

We need an extra Poll answer - No, not as currently constructed.

Their success does not impact my ability to live my life, so hope is a strategy for me.

In the end if they miss again, so be it.  I'm already converting my "work wall background" from Sabres memorabilia to F1.

If we are rolling everything forward and keeping it all basically the same no f'n chance. It appears that is the plan. You can start talking about the 8th best pick in next year's draft now.

They’re on the right track. Trade away the dead weight. We have a good team in Rochester to replace them

We have a clown show in the front office with no idication after 5 seasons that Adams has any clue what he's doing and will now be given a 6th year. There is no way imo that this team makes the playoffs as he continues to roll with the same 2 goalies and expecting different results. The only way we turn this around is basically like the Bills, Pegula gets lucky and hires a legit GM.
