It actually hit me during the win over Carolina last week, I kinda just stopped watching the game toward the end.  I had the rest of the games on over the past week, but I felt less for the last few games than for any regular season game I can remember.  I cared more during the losing streak this year, cared more for pretty much every game the last 5 years.  

Its probably temporary, but even during a win, something hit me and its like I lost interest. If I watch tonight...win, lose, overtime, blowout either way...I just feel it matters 99% less to me than it did even a week ago.

But "top 4 defenseman" is not actually that great of an achievement ... that means he is in the upper 2/3 of all defensemen? #1 overall pick ... yikes.

Or to put it another way, only 1/3 of all NHL defenseman rank below him? The Sabres need him to be a guy that would challenge for the #1 defenseman on half the other teams in the league.

Sad state of affairs on the planet, but mostly with our beloved team, If we can call them that anymore. The passion has been sucked out of Buffalo and who knows if it will ever come back. 

They say winning fixes everything, and that may be the case, but to see such a rabid fan base this apoplectic is truly disheartening. 

Keep hiring the likes of KA and no experience management and this is what you will get. Maybe be should send Terry to indeed. Com to find a qualified candidate.

Adam’s talking about the winless streak annoyed me. I felt like he really sort of minimized it. Leans into the maturity narrative yet again. If that’s the case, why was it not addressed during the offseason? Bulldog could have easily followed up asking why they continue to not bring in more maturity.

UPL's save on the replay -- the puck was going wide. It was all Luukkonen's plan. He slid past the side of the net, thereby freaking out Domi's vision -- Domi tried to go shortside, but because UPL was outside the net, the shortside was wide. Brilliant!

Östlund gonna be a good one.  He and Benson are the Sabre Babies that play the game right.

The AHL line gets a couple good scoring chances. Östlund and Rosén both strong on the puck at times to maintain possession and make solid cross-ice passes that lead to shot attempts.
