I guess at least Kucherov had to deflect it from his skate to his stick. It wasn't a perfect tape-to-tape pass.

 

I have only one thing I hope to see the remainder of the Sabres season. I'd like to see Östlund get his 1st NHL goal.

If Ruff is coach (and why wouldn't he be, he's under contract) I feel strongly it's Norris-Kulich-McLeod-Krebs down the middle.

You have to wonder if their internal goals differ from what they say to the public. Every pre-season projection that I listened to had Sabres missing the playoffs.  I have to believe playoffs were a stretch goal at best, and not an expectation.

With what we have right now, it would be a stretch to say next year we should make it either. There definitely is some talent but overall an imbalanced and bad roster.
