Steve Tasker added to the on ice festivities.

You could still make a case for him in Canton.

"could"?  It's a tragedy he's not in the HOF.

Revolutionized the Special Teams Position- he should be in

Power terrible giveaway.

I don't want to sound like a Power-apologist, but the rest of the team did a terrible job supporting him - getting open or circling back to help. He needs to not telegraph that pass as much, but someone needed to get open.

He's a pretty good skater/stickhandler, not sure why he did not try to carry it.

He had room to skate with it and he made a lazy and dangerous pass.

Is it really just that there is "no pressure"? I mean - this style of hockey, if they could actually sustain it, could easily get a team into the 90's for points. But how many times have we seen them come out and just crap the bed ...?

Steve Tasker is in between the benches with Rob Ray

Maybe Ray is teaching Tasker how to improve his  commentary skills 🤔😏

That play by Power typifies so many Sabres through the years.

Sometimes you have to take the hit, grind it out along the boards to clear the zone.

They rarely do this. They flick it, poke it, tip it etc...

Man up, getting hit to clear the zone is part of hockey.

No pressure is part of it but they played like a team that didn’t know each other for most of the season.  They are starting to come together, defend each other, and work harder for a full 60.   They need to make a few good moves in the offseason to take that next step.  No rolling it back, but they are getting better.
