You know they will. Adams loves his recency bias. Hell if you are in a contract year just play the last 20 games well and you can have a 20 year contract!

It wasn't a large group, but there were some posters here that were saying he should be traded or that he wasn't really all that good earlier this season.

They don't bother hitting us. I've seen them play this year where they do forecheck though. I have to wonder a little if Brind'Amour isn't pacing them feeling they burn out in the playoffs with the pace they use at that time. We will see when the playoffs start if they still have it or not. 

I see Florida doing a whole lot of that too. They float a lot this year and it's either that they don't care cause they were cup winners last year or they know they will have a long haul and have to pace the season. Again, we will see when the playoffs start.

Exactly.  Keep JBD but go out and get a significant upgrade at RHD.   A defensive minded player with a physical presence.  Muel tends to shrink, or get hurt, when the season matters.   Upgrade that spot with steady play and more reliability.

I hear ya but when we missed by one point and Florida got in I said in the off season we need a top 4 D man, a solid goalie and maybe a tough 4th line guy and I think we can make the playoffs. 

I'm still saying the same thing. I don't understand why Adams still has a job. It's not that difficult to see what they need.

I think just flipping  JBD in for Jokiharju has also had a huge effect 

Think about that , a guy that was struggling to get into the Senators lineup has seemed to stabilize the D.  
 

how Adams came into the season with Jokirahu  and Clifton as the only 2 RHD is beyond me.  We all knew neither was a suitable partner for PoweR.  CRIMINAL negligence by the GM

You both probably know this all, but here's my piece anyway. There have been times when both Tage and Tuch have looked too soft to lead such a young (and soft) team...but one thing is unmistakable: Alex Tuch has some of the best mitts in the league. A huge part of why he probably shouldn't take the body is that he's one of the best stick checkers leaguewide. Takeaway machine most years (not so much this year, though). And the sick hand-to-eye on all kinds of deflections, especially recently...so slick.

11-9-1 our last 21 games. So 1-6-1 before the hot streak. Losing to bad teams as well.  Over a season 92 pt pace. Not quite good enough, usually.
