Sabres are 3rd in scoring in the last 40 games averaging 3.40 goals per game but only have a .500 points percentage over that time.

The next worst teams averaging 3.2 goals or more over that time frame are the Oilers at .588 and then the Leafs at .600. There are 5 more teams with higher points percentages than that.

In other words, it's damn hard to score that many goals on a regular basis and not be winning a lot of games.

No, the sabres are 9th in ES goals and 19th in even strength goal differential. Their best aspect is even strength and they are BELOW AVERAGE. You can’t even formulate congruent arguments within your own logic. Yes, Adams is terrible and we are in 29th and the forwards are awful defensively but, forwards aren’t the issue! All the spots are filled. I look forward to you reiterating that fact multiple times this offseason

watch the games

they scored 8 goals today

it doesn’t MEAN anything. They are front runners who can’t play defence

“Quinn finds his game”

ok, Kevyn. You emulate Adams in your thinking it’s so weird

weird not on its face i get he has his fans: weird because you continually lambast him and then turn around and frequently parrot his mindset

“if healthy”

dear lord

Their goaltending is equally to blame. Too many bad goals, too often.

UPL is constantly in bad position on many of these goals.

LOL make this team make sense.

Beat LA in LA where they never lose this season, beat Winnipeg in Winnipeg, put 8 up on Washington in Washington with Logan Thompson in net.

Quinn looks like he has battled through  (or is starting to turn a corner) on whatever has been going on with him. Tage and Tuch continue to score. McLeod with another one.

The problem is Adams will think everything is fixed and convince Pegula to keep him around because the plan is finally working.

Reimer has given them a much better chance then UPL of late.

Bernard Docker continues to look like a dman that could find a home in Buffalo.

The D is so bad , it's gonna take all their time and effort to revamp the unit

maybe they trade a forward for some as help and open up a spot for someone

I'm probably on an island on this , but if they need to trade a top 9 forward away to acquire a Dman, I think Rosen could be ready to step up

I agree, if we trade power and slot in Bernard docker, I’m sure it’s addition by subtraction and we will be good. Forwards are set, just need to give away a few more players

honestly doesn’t even matter Norris doesn’t play big thing is cozens is gone

Because the team we lost to is also bad and is “Philly in a nutshell”. We lose to the teams that also play good when the games don’t matter

the Sabres aren’t getting up for anyone. They get played down to

Bad luck, run it back. Don’t delve further into any other statistical category that easily explains what’s happening

Kozak, Krebs, Kulich and Benson growing their games... the additions of Zucker, Malenstyn, Laferty and McCleod... Quinn finally playing better and Peterka growing up with Tuch and Thompson... Im ok with the forwards... D is another story... gotta get better on D...

Well I'm not thinking that JBD is a replacement for Power

I want to find replacements for Samuelsson, Clifton and Bryson

the big fish this offseason has to be a Defensive RHD who is considered a top pair type of player

the simplest answer would be to go pay Ekblad a ridiculous amount of money.

Bryam - Dahlin

Power - Ekblad

xxx.    - JBD

thoug, I would like confirmation that Dahlins best numbers have come with Byram before writing it in blood

Plus goaltending needs to be looked at

so possibly a change in both goalies

and another forward you need to see to replace Laffery

Sorry, 96% of the team that is in 29th place

We know how WAR works. Remember how much Eichel single handedly elevated this team? I’m sure one guy this summer with elevate the team from

29th to 15th. We also wouldn’t want to increase expectations by aiming higher than JUST making it

If necessary keep Muel... Clifton 7th man and the above isnt horrible... yeh Bryson just isnt big enough... still would love it if Adams traded 1st rounder for an established D man and signed Ekblad...

When games matter and they are not 20 points out of a playoff spot, we see how Buffalo plays.

The unfortunate thing is that we still have no idea what the actual potential of this team would be if they ever had to win a game that mattered. We still have to wait a whole year And hope they can get somewhere near eight  in 2026
