We've all played sports and know how it feels when your goaltender doesn't give you a chance to win

LOL, glad I missed this one. Apparently we still suck, I'm flabbergasted. 

Also, I'd probably shut UPL down for the rest of the way. You're just doing psychological damage at this point. I didn't watch, and I'm sure it's not all his fault that he has a bad team in front of him, but he's not good. Hasn't been for months.

On the plus side, only 10 games left in this miserable season.

I still fully expect the status quo to continue, but there's still this tiny gleam that's holding out hope that we get some significant change.

Yup. The 1-0 loss to then red-hot Minnesota was the first game of the streak. Reimer lost a game early in the streak allowing only 2 goals (in his second game since being reclaimed off waivers), then the Colorado farce, and that was that.

Shortly after, Colorado replaced both of their goalies. Meanwhile, the Sabres waived Reimer to start the season for no reason, and then Ruff rode UPL as if he were Hasek or Miller.

He was bad today. 4 stinkers at least. Not that we played well in front of him  I agree he's mentally done. Let Reimer finish.

I slept through the last two periods but Moneypuck says UPL had just under 3 expected goals against, yet he let in 7.
