Boy, Pegula and KA have really done a number on this team. I can’t think of a single reason to watch. Not one storyline that peaks my interest. I just don’t care. They can both just go away.

I have little doubt that Cozens will get his career on track, but it wasn't happening in Buffalo.  The more opportunities that he had, the more pressure he put on himself, and he really struggled under the pressure. 

Hoping the Sabres burn to the ground is excessive.  

  

Cozens should have been tried at on wing. This is a deal that was the right thing to do for the player and the organization. If Norris can return to health, then it is a fair deal. There is no question that the player mix needs to be shaken up. My fear is that the team's losing environment is affecting other young players such as Quinn and Samuelsson.

Gilbert didn't dress in Ottawa's last game, but if you're Ottawa do you dress him in the manner of "playing the old team"? They certainly don't need him as intimidation/deterrent against the Sabres.

Luukkonen has been overcommitting and sliding outside his posts too much this season; he has to clean that up. Reimer played great against WPG and earned another start.

Sometimes I tune in just so see how any fans are in attendance and then wonder why. Then I get bored

He most certainly was a major problem.  Whether you want to say it was the fault of the organization for the situation they put him in, or the losing just got to him....the REASON may not be all on him, but her certainly was a HUGE problem in why this team was bad.  The posts are out there, but he made mistake after mistake, he was a minus player, just about everyone that played with him got worse..etc. etc.  

I wished it would have worked with him here.  He seemed like a nice kid/guy.  But they never really tried him at wing and he sunk this entire team playing at center while here.

Some people may like Dylan Cozens and think he was the recipient of a raw deal here. But he was a problem.  Other players on this team have been here for a while and probably have had their stats and their overall game negatively impacted by this organization. However, none of them were given as much of a chance and did so much harm to the Win-Loss record as Dylan Cozens did.  I  do wish him well in Ottawa, a change of scenery is doing him well so far and might be what he needs to turn his career around. But he was a bad hockey player most of his time in Buffalo.

Marchand's first full NHL season was at age 22. He had 41pts. Zach Benson won't be 22 for another 2 seasons and he already hit 30pts. I won't go as far as saying that Benson will be Marchard who is a multiple 30g, 80+ pt forward, but the early returns are fun.

Who thinks he got a raw deal? He was a top 6 center for years, had young talent around him who he couldn't make better. He was given PP time. Guys were cycled in around him. It didn't really matter.

Good luck to Ottawa if they think his shot % with them is going to be sustainable. Spoiler alert, it won't be. We've seen that already.

I am looking forward to this game.  I hope the crowd is good to Dylan, he wanted to help turn it around, but it was too big of an ask for his skills and experience.

Last Ottawa game it was Gilbert who neutralized the younger T’chuck.  
 

With Gilbert gone and Greenway out,  T’chuck can do whatever he wants tonight.

I honestly don't think he was a problem here. I think this organization chews up and spits out talent at every turn. Quinn will be next, and then Peterka, and soon after, Dahlin will want out. Look what they already tried to do to Levi, these guys are absolutely 100% CLUELESS.

The players are not given a chance to succeed here as they are rushed into a starting position, lose confidence within months, and then never reach potential until they are traded away.

Maybe someone could get him to go at the opening faceoff Kotkaniemi-style? Then, just pummel him and incite the entire Sabres roster into a 9-1 run to picking 8th overall.

After tonight, he will have played in 3/9 games since the trade. A guy with baked in injury concerns. Great job, Kevyn. Got 3 games out of him, so that's better than none, I guess?
