HumanSlinky39 Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Always great to beat the Sens. Two straight against two good teams because, sure why not? A lot of good work by Reimer. On to the next one. 1 Quote
Stads Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Honest question: If you switch the amount of starts for Reimer and UPL, how many more games do we win? Quote
Pimlach Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Crazy ending. Hanging on, not even a look at an ENG I’ll take another W though. Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Apparently subtracting Cozens was more important than adding Norris. 2 Quote

I don't think that many more. At 37, going on 38 years of age, I just think Reimer needs a little more time off between games. Quote
Second Line Center Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Goaltending matters. Maybe that's really all this team needs is a goalie to make them feel like they don’t have to be perfect mistake free. 1 Quote
ExWNYer Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago I'd like to thank James Reimer for providing me a rarity...back-to-back entertaining (and winning) Sabres games. 2 1 1 Quote

UPL playing worse than last year...I still think is in the top 3 reasons why this team wasn't in contention. Reimer is not the long term solution obviously, UPL needs to be better. Believer Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Gonna miss Sabres hockey when the season ends. Big Bills and Sabres fan my entire life, but my first love is hockey. 2 1 Quote
ExWNYer Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Reimer is now 18-6-4 lifetime against Ottawa. His best mark against any club. Cozens never stood a chance. 😁 2 Quote

mjd1001 Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago (edited) For the analytics fans: Kulich-Benson-Thompson line had the best numbers. They were well into the positive territory with both Fenwick, Corsi, shot differential and scoring chance ratio. All other 3 lines were negative in all of those areas. Peterka-McLeod-Quinn line by far the worst analytics. They did have a goal, but scoring chances were 3 for them and 8 allowed, High danger chances were 1 for and 7 allowed. Expected goals were almost 6-1 in Ottawa's favor when they were on the ice. Edited 14 hours ago by mjd1001 1 1 Quote

rickshaw Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago I know these wins suck for positioning but love beating Sens 3 times, Cozens a minus 2 and him remember the losing. Quote
