Do we have to watch?

NHL action on Tuesday includes a meeting in Buffalo, New York between the Ottawa Senators(37-27-5) and Buffalo Sabres (28-35-6) at KeyBank Center, starting at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The Senators rank seventh with 79 points and the Sabres are 16th with 62 points in the Eastern Conference.

The last time these squads played, Buffalo won 4-0.

Nobody dislikes Ottawa more than myself. However, I just might dislike Buffalo a little more

This seems like a lose-lose game to me. We don’t even get to watch Josh Norris. He has played so little that I keep accidentally calling him Josh Turner

Really hoping Cozens has the game of his career tonight, he was never the problem, and now we have a guy who can't even make it a week without being injured.

I hope whatever is left of this organization is burned down to the ground tonight. They need to accept they are years away from elevating out of the bottom-feeder position.

Cozens was absolutely a problem in Buffalo. You don't tank everyone else you play with, if you're not a problem. I have no issues with Cozens but he wasn't the guy we needed.

Cozens was absolutely a problem in Buffalo. I hope he gets his head sorted out in a new environment but saying he wasn't a problem here is some revisionist history.

I don't disagree with your 2nd point.

In the moment, whose feeling more pressure? Kevyn Adams to turn this thing around and not get fired or the passenger of Ocean Gate's Titan?

I think I detest every player on this team not named Dahlin, Tuch, Zucker or Tage so making sense of any of it is nearly impossible for me.

I won't disagree but I bet he gets his jaw busted or something in the fight and misses the rest of the season.

Cozens drops the gloves and proceeds to get ragdolled by Owen Power; the crowd goes completely silent. Then Power turns green, grows larger and jumps through the ceiling leaving the crowd baffled.

Does he just stand there awkwardly while getting punched?

No, he swings wildly, trying to take out the frustrations from his time in Buffalo, only to leave an opening that gets him knocked out cold.

I'm gonna say Benson lays him out.

There are all kinds of stats that show Cozens play had an negative impact on his linemates and on the team.  The data is there from the past two seasons.

I have little doubt that Cozens will get his career on track, but it wasn't happening in Buffalo.  The more opportunities that he had, the more pressure he put on himself, and he really struggled under the pressure.

Hoping the Sabres burn to the ground is excessive.
