NHL action on Tuesday includes a meeting in Buffalo, New York between the Ottawa Senators(37-27-5) and Buffalo Sabres (28-35-6) at KeyBank Center, starting at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The Senators rank seventh with 79 points and the Sabres are 16th with 62 points in the Eastern Conference. The last time these squads played, Buffalo won 4-0. Nobody dislikes Ottawa more than myself. However, I just might dislike Buffalo a little more This seems like a lose-lose game to me. We don’t even get to watch Josh Norris. Expand Cozens was absolutely a problem in Buffalo. You don't tank everyone else you play with, if you're not a problem. I have no issues with Cozens but he wasn't the guy we needed. Expand There are all kinds of stats that show Cozens play had an negative impact on his linemates and on the team. The data is there from the past two seasons. I have little doubt that Cozens will get his career on track, but it wasn't happening in Buffalo. The more opportunities that he had, the more pressure he put on himself, and he really struggled under the pressure. Hoping the Sabres burn to the ground is excessive.
