Ctaeth Posted Thursday at 11:03 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:03 PM Tired of seeing these same dudes. It would be one thing if we were winning.. 2 Quote

Retires at age 34 (whole career with the Sabres) with 950 GP, 102 points, no playoff games, and gets his number raised to the rafters in the 300 level bathroom Quote
Carmel Corn Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM Part of me is curious if Bryson could actually play a forward position....I don't think he would be any worse than some of the other forward dead weight getting nothing accomplished. Quote

Now if he is in the starting lineup next year I might be worried but for the rest of this year, whatever. "serviceable and cheap",...just like the GM and coaching staff. Quote

Bangarang Posted Friday at 03:52 AM Report Posted Friday at 03:52 AM Anytime you can run back one of the worst teams in the league you just have to do it. This is Adams's vision. Quote
PotentPowerPlay21 Posted Friday at 05:15 AM Report Posted Friday at 05:15 AM Kevyn Adams philosophy is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Let's bring back all the same players for the last place team in the conference and expect different results. Seriously??? This management is so tone deaf it is truly unbelievable. 1 Quote

I think Adams is high on his own supply. I loved how the media started yelling "look! He traded Cozens, Adams is changing his plan!" Lol, *****. Dude is sitting on his hands signing the same guys and bringing back the same coaches all because he "believes in the guys we have" or some other such nonsense. 3 Quote
Flashsabre Posted Friday at 11:28 AM Report Posted Friday at 11:28 AM Well Adams did just pull off a major trade with both players that came back not playing for the team because of injury. Who is anyone to question his brilliance. 1 Quote
French Collection Posted Friday at 11:29 AM Report Posted Friday at 11:29 AM Do better, it’s all I’ve got. This guy has made himself a 7/8 Dman but is done as far as any growth is concerned. Quote
Archie Lee Posted Friday at 02:07 PM Report Posted Friday at 02:07 PM (edited) It's kind of a tone deaf move. Bryson wasn't going anywhere until July 1st at the earliest. It's not a big material move (he can be waived with no cap impact), but Adams could have waited until after some off-season maneuvers were completed and then determined if Bryson was a depth addition that was needed. Or, is this an indication that our internal analytics view Bryson more highly than public models? I guess that one of the limitations of the proprietary analytics of individual teams, is that there is a limited pool of players available. Just because you have analytics that tell you a player isn't very good, doesn't mean you can just go out and get a better one. Teams still need $900k 4th pairing d-men. It's just, when you are in year 14 out of the playoffs and as a GM you are headed into year 6 of your tenure, you would think there would be some level of self-awareness that this isn't the sort of move that will instill optimism in anyone. If anything, it's the opposite. Edited Friday at 02:08 PM by Archie Lee 1 1 Quote

Broken Ankles Posted Friday at 04:01 PM Report Posted Friday at 04:01 PM (edited) He's nothing more than a JAG. So I "rewrote" a song just for him - to the tune of Just another Day by Oingo Boing. For you Gen Y and Z I added the youtube video so you can follow along. ------------------------------------------------------------- There fans being clowned I feel it all around, I feel it in my bones, My life is in decline. We lost away from home. When he sits on the bench, The arena is alive... I do not trust my coaches, I can’t believe this Blue-line. I will not check a bod, I cannot risk the bet, Cause hearts are fragile toys, So easy to forget. He’s just another guy, There's ‘basic’ in the air... He drags it when he skates, I smell it everywhere. He’s just another guy, Where people cling to light, To drive away the wins, That comes with every night... He’s just another…He’s just another guy. He’s just another guy-He’s just another guy. He’s just another ... He’s just another guy. He’s just another guy-He’s just another guy. He’s just another guy… When players wake from dreams, With coaches in their ears, That will not go away... I had a dream last night, I even scored a goal. And everywhere I went, There wasn't any sneers... The temperature decreased, The ice was muted blue, The fans turned into fire, We never have a clue. But there's a smile on my face, For TPegs and Kev... There's a golden coin, That I didn’t deserve... There's a lonely place, That's always cold... There's a place in the League, For when you get old. Oh... Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh... He’s just another guy... He’s just another guy... He’s just another He’s just another guy... Oh... There's ‘Razor’ in my head, He comes out late at night. He always disappears, Before the morning light! I'm dreaming again, Of last night's boozehound... It never gets old, It’s extremely profound. And just when I think There’s a boost in the fan base, The heavens are secure, The whole thing explodes, in my face! He’s just another…He’s just another guy. He’s just another guy- he’s just another guy. He’s just another... He’s just another guy. He’s just another guy- he’s just another guy. Edited Friday at 04:01 PM by Broken Ankles 1 Quote
