This is the first year in my Sabres fandom that I've legit missed 80%-90% of the games.  Part of it is not having cable, part of it is having and then canceling the Gotham Sports App when it was clear this season was in the shitter again.   But, I gotta say, I've watched more games from 1991 than this year's team thanks to Daniel Gibson's YouTube page.  (if he's here, thank you)   I started watching this team when I was 8... I'm gonna be 46.   Can't be wasting time on ***** hockey.   God dammit, I'm old.    Go Sabres?

Ha! I was just talking about Thomas Vanek yesterday. I was lucky enough to have box seats to the Frozen 4 back in 04. This kid Vanek stood out sooo much, I think he was the MVP for the tournament. The Sabre's weren't that good previous year and selected him at #5. I was very excited to have him playing for the Sabre's. 

He had a very good career for us, but alas, another player who couldn't help get us over the hump. 

 

I still have a Frozen 4 puck ☺️
