This administration has and continues to argue that once sent to El Salvador, there's nothing the courts or anyone can do. They're using El Salvador prisons as the new concentration camp so they can claim they are outside US control once you're there. They can take anyone and ship them off in the night with no due process.

They picked him up because he was from El Salvador originally. That's pretty much it and then they ignored his rights and shipped him to a supermax El Salvador mega prison known for its violence and abuse. 1

When Trump officials are found in contempt of court and are shielded from that ruling by Trump, we will officially have reached crisis because if Trump can ignore court orders and the courts have no recourse through contempt, then the courts themselves are no longer a co-equal branch under the law.
