I’ll start with the second. F*** no would I be surprised if stupid s*** happened again. Like the left, there’s enough idiots on the right whose perception of reality is beyond stupid.

I see the difference between Trump and previous admins. He talks a lot of s***. If you’re asking if I think he’s the only president who’s been accused of overstepping, no.

I have a bigger concern for the populace than I do a guy who will be out of office in four years.

Good luck with that. No way he goes quietly.

You’re completely wrong about the deplorable comment as it was an idiotic thing for Clinton to say.

Where is the antifa HQ and to whom should I address any correspondence?

No, I’m not. But it’s cute you think of an organization in such narrow terms.

I don’t get the false equivalency thing when it comes to an amorphous group of idiots doing things and a government backed group of idiots doing the very hateful things they campaigned on. This was the campaign of dehumanization. Trump and his supporters dehumanized some group every time there was a rally.

And with that, I’m gone.

Yes, you are. I spent countless posts in various forums telling everyone how stupid Clinton was to say that.

What organization? I see no organization at all. Antifa is a flash mob response at best. So yeah, the narrowest terms possible.

At least I know where to address my correspondence to that government backed group of idiots. And you are spot on that it was a campaign of dehumanization. All part of a carefully planned strategy and yet another page out of the 1930s German playbook.

He's not out. This is from his immigration attorney. The tactics being used are straight out of fascist dogma. First, target groups that the public shouldn't have sympathy for, then widen the net. People don't have the patience to sift through the headlines.

The people that voted Trump care only about themselves. They would rather innocent people's lives be destroyed than to do things correctly.

The only good thing is Trump is also destroying the lives of people that voted for him. None of these Trump voters will care until it hurts them personally. Sadly even if it does some wont care b.c the brainwashing is too severe.

So what happened to him? How did he get out?

He didn’t. And this has been known since he was shackled, put on a plane, and deported. Begs the question: how many other non-gang affiliated deportees were on that plane? It’s a legitimate question and you should be thanking that judge for requesting additional information from fed prosecutors (that they refused to provide) instead of labeling him a left wing terrorist sympathizer who is ok with terrorists staying in America.

I labeled him that or are you bringing over emotional again? 😂

Been a minute since you used the word nazi. Slow day?

No emotion on my part. Just an intelligent knowledge of history, an ability to read their agenda and apply their actions to it, as well as recognizing something as plain as day. I can’t help it if you are ignorant of 1930s Europe and the strategies and tactics used by far right fascist authoritarians in several of those countries, including those used by the Nazi party in Germany.

If anyone is emotional, it’s you as my use of the word “nazi” seems to trigger you. That’s not my problem. Feel free to resort to your usual snark now.

I’m not ignorant of 1930s Germany or the BS they pulled. I’m also not ignorant of modern day liberals and their more recent BS.

-Pretend Trump will start WW3 with NK because he’s calling KJU rocket man

-MTG (who is an idiot) will incite a civil war

-Tools keying Teslas

-Let’s pretend leftist groups who use violence don’t exist but act like everyone we don’t like is a racist or nazi.

-Let’s burn and loot cities then rename part of one CHAZ. Then cling to Jan 6 (also stupid) like it marginalizes said multi city violence.

They learned all of that from the Republicans though... proud boys, KKK, Jan 6th "was just a little blip", Florida teaching slavery was a way for blacks to gain working skills.

When you see MAGA do it and the president happy with them doing it, it makes the other side realize that is the only way.

Politicians want you to fight each other and it seems by your mindset it's working.

Trump created the problems you see today and it's funny that now the violence is going the other way it's now too much. But before it was all OK to do.

Leftist violence occurred way before Trump.

Also, the guy won the 2016 election and wasn’t even in office and here’s what happened.

As far as my mindset, I didn’t just read about ***** from decades past. I’ve dealt with some of the worst people in places where authoritarian control and use of murder to gain compliance exists.

Acting like the U.S. is 1930s Germany and under the control of an actual nazi is the dumbest ****. Symbolic of the idea that loudest people are sometimes the wrong ones to listen to.

If you don’t see the similarities in ideologies and tactics between 1930s Europe and the far right agenda being implemented in the USA today, then you don’t know the history of the fascist movements in the last century as you claim, you refuse to see the similarities, or both.

Either way, it’s incumbent on those of us who do know the history, who can see the similarities, and who refuse to wait until it’s too late like the weak citizenry and politicians of appeasement who just stood still and just watched it happen in the past. If you think we’re loud now, you might want to plug your ears in the future.

One side note: it’s curious how Trump’s  father and grandfather attended Nazi rallies in New York in the 1930s and openly supported the German American Bund and their various youth camps modeled after the Hitler youth camps. I wonder if any of that rubbed off on little Donald. I mean other than the blatant racism he’s exhibited over the years.

I am using this post as an example.  Let's keep the information to the topics at hand. Let's not get into passive aggressive or overtly aggressive stances towards posters. I would have pulled in a counter example but in the middle of reading this thread I had to get back to work so I lost where I was. I did not want to wade back through it.

The topic has moved but generally is are there similarities to the action of the Trump administration to those of early Nazi era within Germany.

Hey man I don’t think I ever pushed back on one of these kinds of posts from you and I appreciate what you’re doing. But…

Look at every presidency and I am sure you will find examples of perceived (true or false) overstepping of authority. Some say Lincoln did things wrong although the results were positive. Nixon had Watergate. How many presidencies did the Snowden issue span. Obama’s IRS targeted conservatives.

All of a sudden we are in 1930s Germany? In two months? IMO this hyped up rhetoric contributes to the stuff on other platforms like pages and posts calling for death. This is why I had/have an issue a while back with something that was posted on here, no matter how it was spun.

Again, I appreciate what you’re doing but I question how much threat assessment, vulnerability assessment, most likely course of action analysis, and such went into these conclusions.

I’ll back out for now and stick the foreign issues talk I guess.

So basically because of trump's lies, his inciting of violence, the way he acts that make people think they can act like him. Seems like the second Trump went into the political spotlight he has riled up the people he wanted to. You are just proving my point.

Before Trump people used to go after their politicians, since Trumps brainwashing now people attack each other.

There's a direct correlation between trump and the violence.

The mass spreading of misinformation by them invites violence.

Just to be clear I am very happy that Trump is in office b.c America needs to be burned to the ground and he is the guy to do it.

WTF do you mean America needs to burned to the ground? Stay behind your keyboard.

The people have forgotten what matters in America and the only way to bring them back together is to let someone as unhinged as Trump destroy it. So far it's working, plenty of former MAGA turning on Trump. I just didn't think Trump would destroy it this quickly, but Elon has done his part with the spreading the misinformation on Twitter, while Trump does it on "Truth" Social.

You meanwhile are stuck in a brainwashed state until it affects you.
