Season ticket renewals went out. The team-player-media industrial complex is firing up. All have a vested interest in keeping the customers engaged. None of this means anything for the fall. History has taught us this.

I wasn’t sure if I should laugh, cry, agree with or champion this post

Trying to read between the lines of every interview and report from the team is an exercise in futility. Kind of like a crazed fan trying to interpret Beatles lyrics.

Unless you've got hard news, it's better to sit back, enjoy the games, and have some Arby's.

Eff Arby’s.

The last time I went there, they refused to make my beef and cheddar on a seeded bun instead of an onion bun. Even after I told them that I’m allergic to onions, they stuck to their guns.

He is not a difference maker, but Krebs is one of the biggest surprises (positive) for me this year.  He looks like a useful NHL player for the team. Last year, I think I complained about his play more than Cozens, and that is saying a lot. I didn't want him signed in the offseason, and if it was I was hoping it would be a one year deal for the minimum.

Again, he's not 'great', but I was wrong about how I felt about him coming into the year.

I may be in the minority here but I don't see what you're seeing with Krebs. I like his energy but he had to be told like the others to stand up for teammates, every fight he gets into he loses, he has 18 points and is a minus player -8. Another bad defensive player but that could also be on our horrendous defense since I haven't really focused on Krebs soley. He's also won 51.3 of his faceoffs and seems to have gotten better since joining the Sabres which is a positive. I don't hate that he's taking up a roster spot but I definitely think he could be upgraded but just my 2 pennies.

I haven't been to an Arby's in 35 years. Last time I pulled in to an Arby's the sign said was open 24/7 it was closed.  Never again

As a rule I do not eat any fast food.  The last time I ate at Arby's, must have been the 90's,  the "meat" had rainbow colors in it,  like light purples and pinks and light blues.  It was disgusting.

Fast food is not for me, no, no, no.

A straight up Arby's sandwich with horsey sauce is where it's at. No need for fake "cheddar", bacon, onion bun, or anything else. I'll take two of those and skip the curly fries.

Sadly the Jamocha shake was discontinued here in Canada. As far as I'm concerned, there was no better soft serve beverage to enjoy while ignoring 4 pages of inane speculation behind "An Interesting Tidbit from John Wawrow thread".

Wasn't that your LSD phase? Seriously I've noticed the same thing. But it's like watching the Sabres. Blur your eyes, pretend it's wholesome and sit back and enjoy.

Stoner in PA has the right attitude!!!

I find store bought deli roast beef is way worse for the psychedelic sheen than Arby's though.

Never had an LSD phase thankfully.  Iridescent deli meat and the Sabres, what a combo.

Interesting to know this is common but it doesn't change a thing for me.

I get deli roast beef from an high quality Italian meat market in town and I don't see the rainbows colors.   Maybe his slicer is less sharp as the article suggests. He slices it a bit thicker than the garbage they sell at Arby's too.

I tossed that Arby's green and blue meat in the trash, never again to set foot in one.  I will stand by that decision.

I assume at the price point its at that its something like... beef bologna type of thing.  Freeze it in a loaf form, boil it for a while in some beef "jus" to give it the roast beef flavor.

The only way to get meat that cheap is to use the garbage.

I went to Jerseys Mikes …. Once.    Got an Italian combo sub of some kind.  All the meat looked like bologna, it was cheap, tasteless, and pretty much terrible.

One and done for Jersey Mike.

First rule of fast food club

1) Never look at your food. Just jam it into your pie hole as quickly as possible to minimize the amount of guilt and regret you are feeling.

All of the fast food whoa’s that I have come from growing up in Buffalo.  Back in the day there were plenty of family run locally owned places for burgers, dogs, pizza, subs, wings, etc.  Italian and Greek places , bars and Taverns, …

Taco Bell failed its first time entering the Buffalo market.

I'm surprised at how uppity Sabrespace is on fast food!!!

I can't fathom how someone goes 10 years without dropping into a McD's in a pinch... let alone macking some tasty Curly Fries while reading the latest gossip on the Peterka to the Rangers thread.

Lol....I hear yah. That said, I haven't had an Arby's roast beef in close to 20 years. I do HOWEVER, on occasion get the crispy chicken bacon swiss sandwich with curly fries and a side of cheese sauce.

It's tasty ...but I sure do hate myself after eating it
