steveoath Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago What are your suggestions for new recruits (on the playing side) this summer? for me: Sam Bennett Aaron Ekblad if they don’t re-up with the cats. Jonathan Drouin Fantasy Land: Marner Marchand for a year Quote
mjd1001 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago I haven't really put much thought into the list of who is available, But Marner is the only one that I think I'd really 'pay up' for. Of course the team could use some toughness and fiestyness in the form of Bennett. I wouldn't go there though if it turns into a bidding war, I don't think he really is all that good of a player positionally, and that is an area the Sabres need to get much better in, especially from their forwards. Jonathan Drouin Fantasy Land: Marner Marchand for a year So your solution to a team that allows 4 goals a game is to add more offense? The team is 12th in the NHL in GF and 3rd in 5 on 5 scoring. Maybe the problem is on defense and in goal? Quote
LGR4GM Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago 2 new defenders, preferably 1 right shot at minimum. 1 new top 6 forward, preferably gritty AF. 1-2 new bottom 6 forwards, preferably gritty AF. 1 new GM 1 new Special Teams coach 1 new Defensive coach 2 Quote

HumanSlinky39 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) New GM and a restructured front office to include an experienced POHO to keep Terry far away from operations (no more locker room pep talks). Would love a fresh coaching staff purged of internal nepotism hires. From there, let them evaluate the roster and make some moves to improve the soft spots, of which there are several.
