Bastan f off... that being said great game for Sabres to learn to play... hard board playing game... Power at least tied up his man more and yeh you saw his offensive ability... ? on his first goal Power seemed nervous to be congratulated?  Does he have light Aspergers?

I thought 3 of the 4 forward lines were pretty good. The Krebs-Murray-Quinn line was abit 'iffy', but not terrible.  Krebs was noticable at least.

McLeod continues to just play really really consistent.

He was invisible and he should not see the ice anymore.

I doubt we see him in OT. Slow of foot be he

He's a big body you get to net, not in OT player.

He's a slow 4th liner who doesn't have the skill level to do what you want. You literally only want him because he's big.

Well there you go, the Bruins have torn down to Sabres level. That was a dead even hockey game between two teams clearly not playoff bound. I guess next year and beyond we see which team rebuilds faster or falls further.

Greenway held his own on Zadorov. That was good.

Bowling night. Followed the game on the Sabres site. Was 2-2 when I saw last.

What a pleasant surprise to get home and see we won in OT on a PPG, no less.

Damn shame Adams and Ruff couldn’t have done something to cut the 13 game losing streak down to a few games.

Management leadership has been an issue all season.

Great to see the team not quit on themselves. Will be plenty of time for regrets as they all watch the playoffs from afar again.

Keep working, boys! Finish strong.

Oh man... This team is looking real good as of late!!!

Off season wise, all Adams has to is let our young talent get another year older, ship out some of our top scorers like Tuch and Peterka that don't play the game the right way, and plug in some speedy 4th liners that do. The tried and true formula!!!

Can't wait for 25-26!!!!

Relax, it’s the late season push like normal to ***** up their draft position.

The Bruins have Pastrnak and McAvoy.   Can Sabres pass them with Thompson and Dahlin?  Which duo has the better supporting cast?  Better coaching?  Better culture?  Better Uni’s?

Hmmmm, interesting question.

Pasta is a legit top-10 star in this league, Tage is more like top-25, maybe top-20.

I would take Dahlin over McAvoy. Not by much, but I would. Especially long term.

Better supporting cast? From a pure individual talent standpoint right now, tonight, I'd say the Sabres. Tuch, Peterka, Norris (if healthy), Benson, Kulich, McLeod. Zucker is  Bruins kind of player, need more like him. I'd take those guys straight up over Zacha, Lindholm, Geekie, Lohrei, Zadorov.

Better coaching? B's probably get the edge overall, but I don't particularly think much of Sacco as a bench boss. They can, and probably will, do better.

Culture? This is a slaughter. The Bruins have been a very good team for 15+ years. A lot of people wrote them off going into 2022/23 and they had the greatest regular season in league history. Stretched it another season into last year before age caught up to them. Like you said earlier, they have a winning culture. Unless we make big adjustments to the front office/coaching, watch who retools faster. Wildcard for them is a lot of that continuity (Bergeron, Marchand, etc.) is now gone. How much did they take with them?

Uniforms? I'm biased, but I love the royal blue & gold kits and we have the best logo in the NHL.
