What is the Strength of this Organization?

The strength of the organization? The fans. It's a miracle there is still a fanbase at all and as we've seen in snippets they will rally around the team quickly if there are even any signs of life. This franchise is dying, but without this fanbase it would already be dead.

This is a really hard one for me.

People are saying fans yet the building most nights are either empty or half and half crown ( and against canadian teams were outnumbered) so i can't say fans.

People say our captain but it took him awhile to get going and although he's a bright spot of our lineup he has been here throughout the entire drought and is now the capatain and nothing has changed so I can't really call him a strength.

Not coaches or management.

I guess i'll have to get behind the Logo and uniforms as the only viable answer which is really sad to just watch games because the logo looks nice on a uniform.

The strength???  Buffalo has become a fantastic venue for fans of other teams to come watch their teams play….easy ticket availability, less traffic when leaving the arena, and a great fan experience of having so many of your fellow fans join you.  Just look and listen to the opposing team fans when Toronto, Montreal or other teams come here.  Plus….there’s a really good chance you’ll see your team win!!!  It’s like a home game on the road.

Another strength…..an amazing ability for teams to fall behind, change their goalie and then still win the game.  It’s a great confidence booster!

The strength of the hockey team is that there is a new football stadium going up for the Bills.

 

That is the strength of the Sabres, they get to watch a good team play.

To be fair, its not like their coaching hires have gone on to light up the league or do any better anywhere else in the league.......

So maybe the strength is their ability to find the worst coaching and front office personel? And their weakness is then hiring those guys.....

Ask the national media in the USA and Canada and the answers will be fan base.  

The older era players remember the fans and understand they deserve better.  Especially the ones that remember the Aud, which was a hard road game for any team since day 1.  

We had one great owner that cared about the team, picked out the beautiful Uni’s, hired the best front office that he could, hired the best PR and announcers that he could, fixed up the venue the best he could, and created a hockey experience and tradition that captivated fans in WNY and Southern Ontario.  One great owner is responsible for this team to still be clinging to its existence.  
 

Terry knows this, but he fails to follow that blueprint.

If we get good, it’ll have to be our D. We have two first overall picks and a 3. You can’t invest that sort of capital in a unit and it not be your strength. Our highest drafted forward is Jack Quinn and I believe he’s our only top 10

Realized today Power is making 9 mil which is quite wild, but if the unit doesn’t figure it out we are screwed anyways, like I said

Which seems preposterous seeing how often the Sabres have had a top-10 pick in the last 14 seasons. (10 top-10 picks)

I’ve been saying this since the start of last season.  
 

We will get where we need to be when Power reaches his potential.  
 

You just can’t be as bad as we were, end up with the first overall pick and it bust.

Maybe not in this organization.  But successful organizations realize they have to take care of all stakeholders, especially fans that pay the salaries.
