I also thought Joker was trying to be a bit more physical this season, and when comparing him to Mule and Power he might be, but we have too many of these pushovers right now so as long as we are moving some of them out I’m happy.

IMO this year’s trade deadline is brought to you by Lindy Ruff.  He wasn’t happy with the roster and they couldn’t move everyone before the season, but the purge is in effect.  Im interested to see how the off-season goes.  The Sabres still have tons of player assets they can move for a top 6 player and heavier D

I think this is where I'm a bit disappointed in Ruff. If he identified (rightly) that Cozens is not the answer, then... maybe move him to wing where he was solid for Team Canada. Ruff even said way early in the year if they couldn't handle the center duties, they'd play wing. TNT ended up on Kulich's wing. But Cozens got to stay at 2C and PP time forever, while McLeod was the one getting 4C time.

This move to wing would have been twofold: 1) it would showcase him for a trade either this week or over the summer, and 2) it probably makes the Sabres better all season long.

Adams confirmed they are waiting on a deal still in the trade queue. 
 

He said he cannot comment on it yet, but he did confirm the NAK Trade when he was asked about that two trades-NAK and Jokiharju
