Norris is often injured even worse and more expensive than Cozens and Docker is just some guy

This would be a huge, big win for the Sabres.

He has more goals across his career than Cozens and has done that in more than 100 less games.

Also a clutch scorer, has 5 game winners this year in just over 50 games played, he had 8 game winners in a single season a few years ago.  Cozens has 4 game winners for his entire career.

Bernard-Docker looks like he's getting a lot of NHL time.  There probably more blue line shuffling coming up if this goes through.

It’s fine for the remove Cozens from the lineup and have an NHL center alongside Quinn argument. That’s good and I agree.

But if it’s only for 40 games/season or fewer as the contract goes on and Norris’ body wears down further it’ll be a miss. (Though the Sabres could then pull the LTIR card — if the owner were willing to spend money that is.)

Ottawa’s first move (after a 3 game trial period that shows poorly in the video reviews by the assistants) will be to move Cozens to wing.

If you listen to sens fans he IS cozens. Essentially this would be me saying “cozens has 31 points, not nothing”. Their points production is similar. And we need playmaking more. Really, a strength of neither

He cost a bit more money than Cozens, and he has a bit of an injury history (not too bad but there have been games missed) but overall he is an upgrade from Cozens for sure both scoring and in his own end. His shooting percentage is almost double what you get out of Cozens.

Yeah...maybe that is a reach, I don't always believe that a change of scenery helps....you are usually who you are....just Cozens is so bad away from the puck the team needs a change.
