I would love to know what was going through Adams's head as he watched his fatally flawed roster get picked apart by a real hockey team after being backed into a corner. All of the flaws that he has caused/enabled/exacerbated on full display.

Shhhhhhh.  The Tuch mob will attack you

We are at that point

I'm not on the attack I'm just wondering why you think Tuch is the biggest problem? I'm late to this party so I could be wrong but that's the vibe I'm getting.

Apparently it made him think that he should trade JJ

Listened to the post game interview with Cozens.....nauseating!  One reporter kind of touched on the scrums and Cozens seemed to think the Sabres response was adequate....what a bunch of crap!  Somebody should have asked him "Dylan - you were on the ice for the two scrums where your captain is getting roughed up by multiple Lightning players.....why were you just standing around with your finger up your a$$!"

Getting rid of Cozens has now become my most desired outcome next to GMKA getting fired

What's quicker to relevance and back-to-back playoff appearances: the Schaefer timeline or the Power timeline?

I don't know enough myself, but I would be wondering if Schaefer knows how to actually play defense???  If yes, then my money is on Schaefer because I don't think Power will ever learn to be a good defender....in his own zone.

I'd play Reimer at least 50% of the next 10 games.  Let them take turns for a while and see who outplays who.

And then put in the worst of the 2 to finish up the season.
Getting Misa is the only positive this brutal season can bring

Remember when we thought we could replace Skinner's, Mittelstadt's, and Olofsson's production with a bunch of 4th liners that played the right way?!?!

The Sabres were 23rd in GF last season (246 GF).   We averaged 3 goals a game.

They are 12th this year with 196 in 61 games (3.21 GF per game).

Misa or Schaefer, Buffalo had better move up in the lottery. Because as bad as they are, it'll be very difficult to catch San Jose/Chicago given their leads, Nashville and Pittsburgh are in an all-out race to the bottom.

(I sorta think the Pens win the lottery to get Schaefer this year, then truly tank next season for McKenna. Then, a couple seasons for the old 3 to hand off to the next generation. It's like poetry, it rhymes.)

You are assuming facts not in evidence. I don’t think he understands that his roster is flawed.

They did it!

Also, as we remember, the 2nd half of last season UPL was one of the best goalies in the league. This season, not so much.

Some nice snipes by the skilled forwards but Tampa owned the front of our net like they almost always do and thus the result. It was not UPL's fault, it was the D, Byram was absolutely horrible in this one. Clueless.

Ruff should put the Cernak block on a loop and show them how it's done. We got anybody like that? No, no we do not.

Interesting to listen to the ESPN guys saying "somebody has to step up and help the captain there" in those scrums several times. Very telling. Very obvious.

Greenway hurt already? That would figure. idk what Adams is doing travelling with them at the deadline but I guess phones go anywhere. Still, I'd have expected this to be an in the office couple of days. Whatever.

Having lived in Florida (2 seperate times for quite a few years) I can't help myself but to chime in...

My father-in-law and brother-in-law both moved there from NY city. They absolutely love living there.  My brother-in-law goes over the top and constantly calls it his 'paradise' and tells us we should move down there again.

My wife, wants nothing to do with it. She literally is in a bad mood everytime we visit there and when we get home from visiting we are so releived.

To each their own I guess.

Yep. It’s okay to visit (I guess) but I could never live there.

And third in the League 5v5 goals for. Only 4 behind the Caps for first with one game in hand.

It’s also refreshing to see you acknowledge the Sabes offense is better this year without Mitts.   😉

Ferraro also called out Adams roster construction saying you can’t continue to be the youngest team in the League year after year and expect better results.  They even had a graphic with the youngest players/ages so it was definitely scripted.

And VO and Skinner and KO and Jost……. Just think of how much better the offense would be if we had our best playmaker back to go with the bounce back in TnT and the addition of Zucker.  We might even have an effective PP.

He also pointed out how gutless the team was.
