Great period.

Goals are fun.

When I played hockey I'll have to admit I actually liked playing goal the best.  But as a spectator, I'll take a goal every time even over a great save while watching.

Not really directed at you.  There are lots of folks that pounce on his missed shots or whatever he may do that isn’t perfect.   He seems to be held to a higher standard than what is realistic.

Tuch is a second liner on any play off team. You've drank the sabre Kool aid if you believe he belongs on a top line. Don't let the standards slide because this is the best we have now. I like him...just not on the top line of a team going for the cup!

Samuelsson led D-men with almost 10 minutes of ice time (9:44).  I know they were shorthanded, but he did't even play the entire PK so I'm sure he would have led even without that penalty.

Dahlin 2nd with 7:56.

Malenstyn, Krebs, and Benson at the bottom of the ice time list among fowards (all just under 4 minutes)

Greenway and Tuch led with just over 6 1/2 minutes each...again probably due to the PK time.

I disagree. Your top line doesn't have to be full of 3 all stars.  He is more than good enough to be a top line winger with his overall play. He is a 30+ goals scorer, a positive player on a negative team, and probably a better/more aggressive forchecker than most wingers around the league.

ESPN about to do a segment on potential Sabres trades - at least that’s how Bucci teased the break.

Emily Kaplan said Adams says he’s trying to do something “big.”

One name to watch is JJ

So Adams is coming back if he’s allowed to make a trade involving pieces like that??

Krebsy has a little sniper in him. Didn't see that coming.

It was a sniper shot. 8 feet out he took a second or two with his wrist cocked to pick his spot. Boom! A beautiful thing to watch.

Peterka has been rumored as the “big piece” for about a month for three reasons;

1) he can bring a good return

2) they feel Rosen could replace him

3). He apparently is not a big fan of living in WNY

I’m drinking fine scotch, not kool aid.  And you will not find a single post from me saying he is a first line wing.

Besides, he can play on THIS crappy teams first line, but he is better served on the second.

I think I'd want Byram as the D-man to be closer to the front of the net.

Announcer said Tage needed to get his stick on it, but I'd actually give credit for Tage for even being that far back on the backcheck. That was on Bryam to me.  For me out of postion is the biggest issue.

JJ needs to fall in love with a local girl.

This is new info and not great to hear.

OMG - Dylan Cozens disgusts me....falls like he got hit by a train (hardly touched Cernak), then gets up in slow motion and barely skates into the scrum after Dahlin gets into a scrum with Cernak.  He should have bounced up and been the first guy in there.....absolutely lazy, cowardly and disgusting.  Please get him off this team ASAP.

And all of that is in addition to him being a bad overall player.  $7m per year and an "A".
