DarthEbriate Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Here we go again. 90 minutes to game time. We could almost watch a Star War in that. Edited 2 hours ago by DarthEbriate 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I'll give it the first period and see how things go. Hopefully they'll show up and it will be an entertaining game. Quote

Having lived in Florida (2 seperate times for quite a few years) I can't help myself but to chime in... My father-in-law and brother-in-law both moved there from NY city. They absolutely love living there. My brother-in-law goes over the top and constantly calls it his 'paradise' and tells us we should move down there again. My wife, wants nothing to do with it. She literally is in a bad mood everytime we visit there and when we get home from visiting we are so releived. To each their own I guess. Quote

I just got back from a few days in south Florida and the weather was absolutely perfect. Being able to go outside and not be freezing is such a better way to live. The traffic down there, not so great. Quote

Believer Posted 39 minutes ago Report Posted 39 minutes ago (edited) Relocated to Sarasota seven years ago in May expecting to be a snow bird. Stayed that first summer and discovered the heat wasn’t too bad. Sold my home in NJ and been here ever since. Amazing what sunshine and blue sky can do for your state of mind. Even for a lifelong Sabre fan about to miss the playoffs for the 14th year in a row. 😎 Edited 38 minutes ago by Believer Quote

I like light-jacket weather, I really do. We hate, despise 88 - 95 and humid. I would rather live 3 months in the very cold/snowy weather (which, btw, right in the middle of it is when we yearly choose to visit FL to stay with her relatives), compared to 6-7 months of just...Heat. The last time I lived in Florida it was near Daytona...and my family thought I was crazy but I told them I was sick of the late-spring to early summer weather. Every day for months was almost always the same. Bright sunshine, heat, hardly a cloudy day to break it up. If you forget to put your sunshade on the car at work you can't even touch your steering wheel for how hot it gets. The best I could hope for was an afternoon, 4-6pm thunderstorm to break it up. I tolerated it my frist year down there, but as the years went by I longed for the 4 seasons and I just wasn't as happy. Right now we live in a quiet corner of Niagara County, not too far from the river and the lake. Suburban/almost rural feel. Its quiet. When we go to Florida, its not just the weather...the traffic, the crime, the aggressive people (at least where my relatives live), and strip plaza after strip plaza after strip plaza. Again, our relatives love it. I could not go back to living like that if you paid me. Again, some love living down there. I am more than willing to live in the Northeast and travel south for a week or two each winter. Edited 35 minutes ago by mjd1001 Quote

Crusader1969 Posted 35 minutes ago Report Posted 35 minutes ago I really don't have much hope for any of the defensive pairs but having Clifton and Bryson out together should be fun to watch Quote

mjd1001 Posted 33 minutes ago Report Posted 33 minutes ago (edited) A deflection off of the D-mans stick. I can't really blame that Tampa goal on anyone. Maybe they could have got back a bit quicker, but not really a mistake. Edited 32 minutes ago by mjd1001 Quote
Stads Posted 33 minutes ago Report Posted 33 minutes ago Clifton with goals in back to back games. I'm impressed Quote
