There is some blame on the forwards as well. We have quite a few offensive guys who aren't very good at defending or choose not to at times. Again, the way the roster is constructed it has a heavy skew towards offense or at least offensive intent.

Totally agree.  Have a hard time believing people have watched this group of defencemen and not think upgrading the top 4 is biggest priority 

improving the depth is essential too

i mean you lose Dahlin for a bunch of games and you can't win even 1 of them?

The funny thing is, if we had a really good goalie it would probably mask a ton of our issues. You just have to look back to the conversation around Hellebuyck when he was being shopped and laugh. And laugh.
