At least the people that were desperately hoping can finally stop wasting time trying to figure out how many games we need to win to somehow squeak in. I stopped doing that figuring in November. When I was a little kid, there was a time, sometimes in the middle to late 80s, where it seemed like they had a good run against Montreal. Again, I was a little kid so maybe they won 3 in a row but it seemed like a lot more to me. Since that day, I always had in my head the Sabres matched up really well vs Montreal (and they always seemed to lose to the Nordiques). Well, they are taking that childhood memory from me. Quote
