JoeSchmoe Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 Are there still any old school lots near the arena where you can pay cash? My 17yo son and his girlfriend are going to the game on Saturday and neither one of them have a credit card. If I could give them directions to a good lot... Preferably closer to Pearl St Grill (my son's favourite restaurant) that would be helpful. I also realize not having a card will limit them from buying concessions. They're all overpriced anyways though so it won't matter. Thanks! Quote
LGR4GM Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 The lots under the 190 do. Or park near main on the street and take the train down. Quote
sabresparaavida Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 I believe this is the lot I usually go to, as far as I’m aware, they still take cash. 190 Scott St, Buffalo, NY 14204 Quote
darksabre Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 On game day most places will take cash. The Harborcenter ramp does, the ballpark ramp on Washington does. I think the lots over on Perry do. They might even be able to find some free street parking on Franklin, Pearl, or Delaware depending on what time they get down there... I like to park on Chicago outside Resurgence and walk over, it's not a bad walk most of the time. A little longer now that Swannie is closed though... Quote

I am pretty sure the lots between Scott and Perry you have to pay using a parking app. It could have changed since the last time I went there. I park at the ramp on the corner of Exchange and Washington behind the baseball stadium but that is CC only. Quote
SHAAAUGHT!!! Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 The lots right off Exit 6 (Elm St and Swan St) take cash, but it is a solid 10 minute walk to the stadium. Bring a $10 exactly in case there isn't someone working the lot and you have to put it in the box. 1 Quote

If you get down there at like 4:30 before the lots are staffed you're stuck paying card or with the app. Once the event guys show up it'll be cash. Prepaid credit cards are out there if having something other than cash on hand is desirable. They'll work in the area. 1 Quote
