They will get better Just because young players will get better certainly doesn’t guarantee that the team will be better. It takes a lot more than a few good players to make the team better. again the Sabres had great young players a few years back and it certainly didn’t make the team better did it? They tried that rebuild on the fly thing with Kane. I don't think it was necessarily a bad idea? I just was never a big fan of the player or the price they paid to acquire him. Neither him nor Bogo had the leadership acumen, especially at the age they were brought in. Quote

Doesn’t mean they won’t be good either. I’m hoping they are. I think they will Quote

It looks like Power’s mistake at first (and he certainly doesn’t play it well) but only because Byram’s play was so unfathomably bad you can’t see him at first sitting around playing Pokémon in the corner for reasons best known to himself Edited Friday at 10:23 PM by Thorner 1 Quote

We somehow are out of the playoff race in a year where almost every team in the east still has a shot. The team averaged 76 points per season over Adams’ first 4 seasons The Sabres are pacing for, checks notes….*76 points* this season. Do we think, maybe, we are a 76 point team under Adams? Quote

Lindy did him a huge solid pulling him after 2 goals to help his sv% The move was first to wake his team up, good teams respond to a goalie change. Good teams know what lever the coach pulled and respond. Quote

UPL is in the bottom half of the league when it comes to his stats. Quote

We have seen opposing teams do this numerous times, and beat the Sabres. You can believe otherwise, but this was a message to the team, a message not received. Quote
