PromoTheRobot Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 The Sabres had 7 losses to give in the rush to 91. Just keep winning 3 between losses. Quote

We’re not going to get much for Cozens, Quinn, etc, so you may have to give up quality to get quality. I’m not saying he’s our worst top 6 player….that might be Cozens or Quinn, but I am saying we cannot come back next season with the same top 6 and expect to be much better. We are talking about JJP. he is going to score 25 as a 22 year old In what world isn't that helping you now? Oh well. A motivated Canes team kicked their ass. lets put in behind and move on to sweep the back to back vs Montreal Quote
Jorcus Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 we lost the Skinner trade. At least for tonight. Quote

He’s one our our bigger fish in a small pond with his goals yes. But if he was having a really good season, then he’d still be with TNT and maybe Tuch on the 1st line. As somebody else noted, he may benefit from better linemates, but for some reason Ruff doesn’t do that. That tells me there are things about JJP’s game that Ruff doesn’t like. You clearly like him. I don’t hate him, but IMHO he may need to be part of a shakeup that makes our top 6 better next season…not 2 or 3 years from now. 1 Quote

SabreFinn Posted Friday at 05:32 AM Report Posted Friday at 05:32 AM Canes with only their second win in February. They were desperate and it paid off. Sabres seemed slow. On to the next one. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted Friday at 06:45 AM Report Posted Friday at 06:45 AM Whalers looked like a really well coached team. Solid team structure the Sabres just can't deal with that. Game was never close. Weird to see Jost and Robinson putting up minutes for them. I guess anybody can play if the team around them is good. Now what was that Cozens fight all about? That was weird and all it told me was boy, that kid don't know how to fight at all. 1 Quote

If this team ever makes the playoffs they’re going to get beaten like this in every single game because this is how a playoff team plays Quote
