What did the VP say that you feel was inaccurate?

Trump is applying pressure on Zelenskyy to sign a deal, nothing more.

"random country that has not fought a war in 30 or 40 years" which was both incorrect and him putting his foot in his mouth with Britain and France taking offense.

Why isnt Trump applying pressure to Russia to sign a deal? Why is that?

Google Vance’s relationship and advocacy of Curtis Yarvin, who openly seeks to replace our democratic system of checks and balances with a dictatorship or a “CEO of the Country.” We live in a bizzaro world.

Russia for first time since a year, is losing more teritory in Kursk,  Losing an entire city on the easter front,   has no manpower at the moment, and Trump is basically sticking a knife in the back of all that, Putin is laughing his ass off right now.

I don't know if he is or not. I have not seen anything reporting that he has.

Humor me though. Say Trump demands Putin withdraws from Ukraine and return all seized lands. Putin says no. Then what? Do you want to go to war with Russia?

The US doesnt hear that though. They get almost no updates on what is happening at the front because US news is a constant cycle of fearmongering, rage baiting, and otherwise trying to entertain. I routinely have to use sources outside of the US to get a picture of what is going on in Ukraine.

But that implies Zelensky should give in to Trump because Putin won't. That seems backwards. Personally I think the US would quite quickly win a war in which its strategic goal was to push Russian forces out of Ukraine. I am not even sure you would need boots on the ground. You would however need planes in the sky so maybe that's quibbling on my part. But no, I do not want the US to openly go to war with Russia.

That said if Putin says no, you continue the economic sanctions on Russia, maybe impose more, and you continue to support the war effort with material. If the goal is simply end the war, than Zelensky should just surrender to Putin and cede Ukraine to Russia, would that not end the war fastest?

You have a much better plan than I do. Well done.

I think international diplomacy is exceedingly complicated. There is not a good way to write a paragraph or even a long post on solving the issue.

That is pretty much the plan EU wants to follow.   But Trump is putting economic sanction on USA not Russia 😄

Seriously how can you believe someone telling he is an economic mastermind and wizzard when his way out of 3 bankrupcy dealings was saying he was too big to fail.    Well some may call that brilliant, I just call that fraud.

USA and EU always been solid partners , but now its come at an end, I don't mind parts of this, EU should have done more to be self aware about defense, And this will happen more and more now.    But what Trump did now is create and already economic powerhouse, forcing it to create strong military and basically said he don't need us.   ***** if they would vote for an EU president right now I would vote zelensky and I know a lot around me feel the same way.

Europeans, especially eastern Europeans, know and understand their history very well, despite some far right movements in the region. It's a travesty that mango man and his ilk have zero understanding of it and the enormous sacrifices that were made. And the idea that he doesn't respect our membership in the greatest alliance of nations, DEMOCRACIES ALL, that the world has ever known is even more egregious.

How can anyone expect Zelensky to capitulate to a terrorist like Putin? He shouldn’t cede an inch of territory to that maniac.

The decision to stop sharing intel on Russia with Ukraine is literally getting innocent Ukrainians killed. President dumb phuck has blood on his hands.

Well... that escalated quickly. Trump may slap massive tariffs and sanctions on Russia. Big if true.

I’d much rather he resume sharing intelligence with Ukraine, resume giving them military equipment and other aid, and convince Musk to resume Starlink service to the Ukraine military.
