Trump will never show his face in Canada. Everyone knows who and why they’re booing.

I know why Canadians boo the U.S. anthem. Someone forgot to tell them what the players are playing for.

The players are playing for their countries. The Canadians are pissed at the country... checks notes... team USA represents. You implying the Canadian fans are some how ignorant, really isn't helping.

The only thing good coming from Canada is the train😃

They booed the anthem long before Trump was in office

The current reason is pretty well known. But again, they must’ve forgotten it’s not what the players are playing for.

What can the Sabres take from this game?

There is one player you could consider a kid or young player, Hughes, playing in this game and he looks terrible. They need more quality 25 to 32 year old players in the lineup.

@7+6=13 roll your eyes elsewhere

Strange, I was told by every single person here that Power was the consensus first overall, repeatedly.

Nah, I roll them when I want.  Don't ever tell me what to do.

Team physicality is important. Doesn’t have to be crushing hits but separating player from puck and making them feel less comfortable.

Precision passing with creative playmaking is a must.

Play away from the puck is just as important.

Hi all.  I hope this finds everyone well.  With the Sabres out early in an extremely disappointing season, I've pretty much checked out for a while.

Anyway, this, in welcome contrast, is a great game with great passion and intensity from every player and coach.

Reino on Canada's top line with McD and Marner, and Eichel on USA's 1 or 1A line with both Tkachuks.  And Canada's 2nd line is just a few randos named Crosby, MacKinnon and Stone, while USA's other 1/1A line is Mathews, Jack Hughes and Guentzel.

Holy mackerel.

KA must have forgotten about the physicality aspect.

Assuming the US wins, they would already be in the final. If Canada wins in OT against Finland, the US could then take it easy, lose to Sweden in regulation, and then play Sweden in the final. Canada just can’t beat Finland in regulation.
