I kind of can’t believe Tage thinks he should be on this roster. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him display a 10th of the intensity these guys are playing with once in his career. Especially with two way hockey not just on the offensive side.

Absolutely. He would be way out of his league on this team.

Only two players on the US  roster have more goals than Tage.

A healthy Tage would help this team, probably as a winger.  He needs to experience this, it would help him grow playing in games of this magnitude.

Obviously the USA coaching and GM staff thought differently

Some of you really discount Power. He played in the World Championships at 18 and was good. He plays against all these guys. He would be just fine out there for Canada.

This is nothing like the World Jr’s. Power couldn’t handle this physicality.

Strange, I was told by every single person here that Power was the consensus first overall, repeatedly.

Yes

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember anyone booing an anthem before.  That's trashy af.

I don’t remember a US president threatening to take over Canada before. 🤔

I guess that's what happens when you threaten annexation against a free and friendly country 🤷‍♂️

We need Canada as a staging ground for our invasion of Greenland.

I actually agree, btw. I'd be more worried about the speed than the physicality.

But who was? Beniers hasn’t been great, neither has McTavish. Hughes is worse defensively than Power.

Im not defending that Power has been great but I just don’t see anyone else from that draft that has passed Power.

No one from that draft class is in this tournament.

Booing another country’s anthem is lame. Players aren’t playing for their respective governments. They’re playing for the general pride of their country.

That gets lost on the stupid of the world.

Eklund is still my pick, I could be wrong but we'll see.

Trump will never show his face in Canada. Everyone knows who and why they’re booing.
