Flashsabre Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 The Americans have a huge advantage between the pipes. Binnington scares the crap out of me. Feel much better with a Thompson in net but he wasn’t even chosen. Canada has had a problem developing top end goaltending the past while. Quote
Sidc3000 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 I really hope this tournament give Dahlin and Joker much needed playoff-like experience. I’m sure it’s making them second guess what they’re doing playing for the Sabres. Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Nice to see! He was so happy. I kind of want the underdog Finns to win, but love it Dahlin scored 2 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 The ESPN intermission crew blamed Dahlin's pinch (and yes, Dahlin needs to see Z is not even thinking of coming back to defend and not pinch) on the odd-man goal, but that goal is looking more and more like Zibanejad's mistake because Sweden has been activating D to go low in the zone throughout the game. Likewise I can’t root for a team with Marchand, Reinhart, and McDavid. So I’m hoping for a miracle that somehow Dahlin and Sweden find a way to win. What did Samson ever do? I find him the one ex Sabres that I enjoy watching / cheering for Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Jokiharju actually looks fast, wish he could play at this level for us. Quote

Pimlach Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Sweden going to OT. They better play Dahlin this time. I though he had an assist on the first goal but not seeing it. Quote

And he is a more effective 3 on 3 player than most of the Swedish D. Not sure if I agree with that either. Sorry. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Nice game. Haven't seen a game that fun in awhile 2 Quote

Gets a + as Zibanejad bounces one through Lankinen. Then, Dahlin gets caught pinching and leads to a 2-on-1 Finland goal. 1 Quote
Flashsabre Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Bieksa calls out Sweden for not playing Dahlin in OT. 2 OT losses for Sweden now Quote
Pimlach Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 (edited) Dahlin no ice in OT. I am sure this sounds like sour grapes but Erik Karlsson is again on the ice for an OT GWG against. That's two for two. I guess he took away the pass, and Ullmark is responsible for the shooter, but the guy is a liability on defense, he always has been. Edited February 15 by Pimlach Quote
