Seannie34 Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 They are the defending champs and some think they can do it again next year. They are off to a mediocre start at 2-2. Any predictions for the score tmw night?
Saber61 Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 with only Ghrame in net no... i don't think they'll come close to repeating... the bulin wall was a big part of there run last year... there is no way Ghrame could fill in espeically with the increase in scoreing... unless they pick up good goaltending there is no cup in there future this year... Oh as a side note... for Canadian fans in the leaf region the Sabres Vs. Tampa Bay game is on TSN tonight at 7:00 not sure if its just leaf region or everywhere in canada or ontraio.
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Tampa looks like they are off to a really slow start. I haven't had a chance to watch them yet this year. There was mention in the AP preview of the game that they are having a hard time holding on to the puck. If that's the case, the game might look similar to the Pittsburgh game.
PTS Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 These next three road games will either prove that the Sabres are for real or if they got lucky in the first four games. If they can win 2 out of 3, there would be no doubt in mind that the Sabres are for real. I think tonight will be the most winable game. Florida is playing great with Luongo. Boston will be looking for revenge at home after the Florida trip.
