Team, family, warriors—today, we stand on the edge of something extraordinary. Four games.  A chance to prove to ourselves and to the world that we are unstoppable. This isn’t just about winning; it’s about creating a legacy. It’s about showing up, again and again, and refusing to accept anything less than greatness.

Let’s be clear: winning one game takes talent. Winning two takes focus. Winning three takes heart. But winning four? That takes something deeper. That takes an unbreakable spirit. That takes a team that refuses to quit, no matter the odds, no matter the pressure, no matter the noise.

Think about what’s at stake here. Four wins in a row isn’t just a number—it’s a statement. It’s a declaration that we are a force to be reckoned with. It’s proof that when we come together, when we fight for each other, when we give everything we have, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.

But let’s not sugarcoat it—this won’t be easy. Nothing worth achieving ever is. There will be moments when the pressure feels overwhelming. There will be times when doubt creeps in. There will be challenges that test us, push us, and force us to dig deeper than we ever have before. But here’s the thing: we’ve already done the hard part. We’ve already proven we have what it takes. Now, it’s about finishing what we started.

This is our moment. This is our time. And I need every single one of you to believe—not just in yourselves, but in each other. Look around you. These are your brothers. This is your family. And when we fight for each other, when we trust each other, when we leave everything on the ice for each other, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish.

So, let’s break this down. One play at a time. One shift at a time. One period at a time. We don’t need to focus on four wins right now. We just need to focus on this game. The next moment. Because if we take care of the little things, the big things will take care of themselves.

And when we win that first period, we’ll build momentum. When we win the second, we’ll build confidence.  And when we win the third? We’ll build a legacy. A legacy of resilience, of determination, of excellence. A legacy that will inspire everyone who comes after us.

So, let’s go out there and give it everything we’ve got. Let’s play with passion, with purpose, and with pride. Let’s show the world what this team is made of. Let’s make history.

Four games. Four wins. One team. One mission. Let’s do this together.

Now, who’s ready to fight for four? Let’s go!

"The Sabres addressed the lack of response to the hit on Tage Thompson in a team meeting. Alex Tuch and Dylan Cozens both were emphatic in saying that won't happen again. Cozens said there were a lot of guys who wished they were on the ice when it happened."

Sure, cause there was no time left on the clock afterwards was there. None of them were on the ice ever again. How utterly stupid and lame.

If there is some exaggerated over the top feistiness from the Sabres tonight, I’m going to laugh out loud.  It would be so Sabres to get called out and then have Peyton Krebs fight Zack Aston-Reese at puck drop.

There might be but I expect more likely is Olivier runs somebody early and laughs in their faces.

Muel ruled out with a LBI…..must have lost his nuts somewhere against the devils.

Oh FFS, he got hurt by not intervening? By being within 5' of Noesen?

It could at least be a UBI and be related to the removal of a letter.

The Sabres have certainly earned all this negativity from the board.  They’ve earned it collectively over several years.  That’s a little unfair to guys that have only been on the team a short time. But they certainly don’t respond AS A TEAM very effectively. It’s to the point where the fans are so sick of the losing, the brain dead moves, the poor management, lack of direction from ownership, etc etc etc that it’s very difficult to see ANYTHING good in this team.  To the point that many of us care more about having this team  show some pride than about winning a game when we’re pathetically out of the playoff race AGAIN!  It’s no wonder that only a handful of people bother to post anymore.  I just f**king want the Sabres to be good again.

I think I'm even more angry about the organ-eye-zayshun giving Samuelsson the cover of an injury designation for tonight's scratch than I am about anything else surrounding the Tage Thompson non-response.

That's the root of the rot right there.

And I'd bet dollars to donuts that Opie was involved in thusly sheltering his chosen, foundational steady d-man.

Sheltering him from what?

And still be in last place in the conference.  What difference does it make?  They threw the season away losing 13 in a row.  Every person who has ever said the word Sabres should have been fired 10 times over.  What on Earth are we doing here?

It's a steep climb now but every win makes it a little less so. The current wild card teams are on pace for 92-93 points. Sabres need 21 wins out of 30 to get there. Win-win-lose, win-win-lose.

Let’s just fantasize they actually do what you are laying out.  This team gets smoked like a brisket at inkman’s house in the first round.  I guess we can all celebrate ending the drought but they’ll be gassed by then and their roster is exactly opposite of a playoff team.  A third of our players won’t even be able to finish the series as they’ll get physically abused right out of the playoffs.

And he told the media (which is like telling the league) that Tage was Ok way too soon.  A concussion can come and go and have effects that last more than one day.

The league already ruled no further punishment to Noesen.

The fact they probably did that to justify their lack of response is embarrassingly par for the course

like congrats, you fooled me! I thought he was playing, yup

You will see another 10 game losing streak before they can ever pull off that kind of win loss ratio

Like, what happened to you, dude?

I'd lay even odds that some other hockey fan managed to hijack this account.

Parody can be fun

I have to say, I am more interested in this game than I have been any other game all season. Maybe that was part of their whole plan?

I can’t wait to see how the crowd responds and what the physicality is like after this team hearing that they are the biggest pansies in the league for the last few days

i keep saying it, they were distracted by the Bills. This is game 4 of the 30 game win streak.

It’s also funny that they clearly believed the excuse plausible solely based on the fact Samuelsson is always hurt

We’d still finish 4 points short lmao

that’s 89

If we wanna get to 93 we need to go about 23-7.

or at least a bunch of loser points. And that’s if no one else of the 32 teams ahead of us also go streaking

it’s not over. But it’s over. Ya know? 8 regulation losses in next 30 and they are through

So Muel, TNT and UPL all hurt….i am completely shocked, thought they were all iron men 😄

I think the Sabres know they’re out of it and now will start the healing process early.
