Strong finishes previous three seasons didn't carry over to the fall, but will 25-26 be different?

Sabres were I believe 14 points back of a playoff spot before their recent streak of 4 wins in a row: which has left them 11 points back. Essentially gaining .75 points on the pace per win.

Push the streak to about 18 or 19 in a row and they are probably tied for WC2

Sabres would be pacing for 94 points if they put together an 18 game win streak

food for thought

This saying is always a sore spot for me.  The dumbest bosses I’ve ever had would drop this phrase multiple times a day and I just can’t take it anymore.  It’s a misattributed quote from Einstein that was written in some book in the 80’s and has nothing to do with the actual definition of insanity.

I prefer to keep using the phrase, notwithstanding the fact that I keep getting the same outcomes.

it's a rancid pint container of shrimp fried rice that's been in the back of the fridge for 3 weeks.

but it's food still, technically.

More important in the extreme short-term, can this team carry its strong finish to the pre-4-Nations break over to the end of February after the break?

Great to finally win 4 games in a row, but of note in the it's not who you play, it's when you play them:
BOS - missing H. Lindholm, McAvoy, and Carlo
NSH - missing Saaros and with a EBUG dressed, and currently on a 5-game losing streak
NJD - missing Hischier, Markstrom, and 5-10 in their previous 15 games before Buffalo
CLB - missing Monahan, Marchenko, Chinakov, Werenski, Fabbro, Gudbranson, and Jenner
