I wonder what Isak thinks? Probably just thrilled to be up in NHL I'd think.

My question is, does he get Power Play time. He seems kind of good playing along the wall and making plays. We need help on PP

Kind of like not letting Benson play for Team Canada.

Those 18-21 year old 180 lb forwards are valuable to the Sabres.

Someone needs to tell EEE-sock that the beard needs to stay.  He looked alien without it.  Like almost a different species.  A nicely quaffed beard has him looking a little smoldering.

A beard would also be good for TNT, Cozens, Quinn, JJP, Power, etc.  At least try to create the illusion that you have more age and grit than a 6 year old birthday party.

I didn’t watch last night.  How did Rosen play?

I thought he played ok. The line looked out out of sync at times but they tried to be responsible on the D side of the ice. He made a few good passes in the O zone. At least once he poked a puck off a stick out of the zone defending. Had one or 2 good looks at a goal but that was about it. He got run over at lest once but no glaring errors.

Rosen had 1 shot on goal.  The line had 5.

They had 10 shots as a line the previous game, but only 4 shots the game before that.

So it was in line with a "quiet" night for that line.  The line as a whole was -1 in the +/-.

Considering that's the Sabres top line, you might say he dragged them down, but as an individual I think he acquitted himself well.

Not a lot of playing time to assess.  Malenstyn’s injury shook up what was already a shorter forward group (11-7 lineup that went down to just 10).  Seemed like Rosen was kind of the odd man out as the game wore on.  Hopefully there will be a larger sample size against the Preds.
