Flashsabre Posted Saturday at 03:00 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:00 AM (edited) Kulich is the real deal. If you watched him at the U18s, WJCs and in Rochester he is the guy that wants the puck on his stick in big moments and wants to score the big goal and often times he delivers. Of all their younger players, Kulich and Benson are the two I wouldn’t move. Edited Saturday at 03:01 AM by Flashsabre 2 4 1 Quote

Looks great in first couple of year but fizzles out though Cozens was never elite at anything. I think he was an effort guy who is a good skater and decent shot. Though he's lost his way the last couple of seasons Kulich has an elite shot not only accurate and deadly. The release is crazy quick. Good skater , built well for a 20 year old. Not sure he is a top line center but definitely looks like a 2C or an excellent 3C at worst 1 minute ago, Flashsabre said: Kulich is the real deal. ExWNYer Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Jiri's parents were in the building for the first time to witness him play in an NHL game. Awesome. Had to be a thrill for them and that young man. 3 6 Quote

JohnC Posted Saturday at 03:26 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:26 AM Some quick thoughts on this game: Game was somewhat choppy and didn't have much of a flow. I attribute that to both teams played tight when the other team had the puck. Not much open space for either team to maneuver. Although Kulich scored two goals I would give my first star to Zucker. He's a bulldog. Another Zucker like player added to this roster would be very beneficial. Kulich would get my second star. He's a sniper. Right now he has moved ahead of JJP and Quinn as developing players. Dahlin played really well. The play of the game for me was Tuch's pass to Zucker who deflected the puck into the net. I thought our team defense that included our forwards was very good. UPL played solidly. He was screened on the goals he let in. He made a game saving stop on a play when he was sprawled on the ice and stopped the puck with his foot while sprawled on the ice. It seems to me that the players are not as confused and scrambling with their defensive assignments in their zone. Our face off performance was lacking. ROR is superb at taking the draws. This game was not very aesthetically pleasing and didn't have much flow to it but I'll gladly take it. The effort was there throughout. A good home win on a special night for Razor. 13 minutes ago, GASabresIUFAN said: Sadly even with Kulich a top 6 center is still needed especially if TNT remains on the wing. We are about the same age and I really want to see them win the cup once with Pegula owning the team, the possibility of that happening is near zero with a new owner , the odds could be substantially higher , even taking into consideration the team "could" be moved. Let me know when you identify a buyer who wants to keep the team in Buffalo. Quote

ska-T Palmtown Posted Saturday at 04:59 AM Report Posted Saturday at 04:59 AM I really hope the team took that ceremony with them. Rob Ray, for all his faults as a player and broadcaster is just a truly good human being who gives his all to anything he does. He bleeds blue and gold. There should not have been a dry eye on the bench and those kids need to watch that video about 500 times and really let it sink in. Buffalo is nuts for a guy with 40-something career goals because he left it all out on the ice each time he skated. Glad they won, hope they learned something. 4 2 Quote
