I remember Kulich had a really rough game against Winnipeg in early December.  Looked lost out there, and I think Lindy even benched him for a while during that game. 

Since then, he has 7 goals in his last 18 games.

I know the stats that the Oilers and Draisaitl actually do pretty well in games where McDavid is out historically, but so far this game Draisaitl doesn't look all that dangerous to me.

I still like the signing. What I didn’t understand was waiving him and forcing Levi to the NHL to start the season, unless Reiner was just awful in practice. Neither goalie distinguished themselves in the preseason. Reimer has had one game that was a complete dud, but he is well ahead of the others in save percentage. He’s been everything that could be wanted of him. Just doesn’t play enough and has a garbage defense in front of him.

The Sabres briefly made it even in shots after the power play.
