Believer Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM At least we got a few SOG Quote
ExWNYer Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM (edited) TNT had the top corner over Skinner's left shoulder wide open and slapped it low and into the pads. Ugh. Edited Saturday at 11:12 PM by ExWNYer Quote

His few games in the past or earlier this year, he was out there but wasn't so quick to shoot, he was deferring to line-mates more, wasn't as aggressive. Now it looks like he 'feels' like he belongs more. He is quicker to take a good shot. Hopefully that translates to his game continuing to improve. He is one of the very few positives in this season so far. 1 Quote

Kronsteen Posted Saturday at 11:18 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:18 PM We just need to stop watching the third period. Could live in blissful ignorance then. 1 1 Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted Saturday at 11:18 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:18 PM I know they won't because there is 0 accountability with this team but Peterka has been absolutely abysmal, gave the puck over 3 times and was literally floating instead of taking RNH on that goal, his ass should be benched for several games. Believer Posted Saturday at 11:19 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:19 PM Damn. No one in position to help Reimer. Quote
HOUSE Posted Saturday at 11:19 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:19 PM This could mean a nasty loss. 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted Saturday at 11:24 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:24 PM More low IQ defensive play. Dahlin with the turnover, loses his stick. Oiler has the puck on the backboard and BOTH Dahlin and Byram go after the same player behind the line……leaving the front slot wide open…..just DUMB Quote
Carmel Corn Posted Saturday at 11:27 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:27 PM So how long before Lindy pulls Reimer and the Oilers get the ENG? Maybe Skinner gets it….either the goalie or Jeff?!?! Quote
Pimlach Posted Saturday at 11:28 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:28 PM The won’t score if they don’t shoot. Quote

Carmel Corn Posted Saturday at 11:29 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:29 PM I’m sick and tired of the puck handler always going wide. On two consecutive rushes Cozens goes wide right and then Tuch a few seconds later. 1 Quote
ExWNYer Posted Saturday at 11:31 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:31 PM (edited) Of course the tying goal is disallowed. Because Sabres. Edited Saturday at 11:32 PM by ExWNYer Quote
Believer Posted Saturday at 11:31 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:31 PM (edited) Boom. Kulich kicks it in No goal. Edited Saturday at 11:33 PM by Believer Quote
Pimlach Posted Saturday at 11:32 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:32 PM I thought the goalie pushed it in after it hit Kulich’s foot. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted Saturday at 11:34 PM Author Report Posted Saturday at 11:34 PM ‘Twas a kick, but Kulich was the only one in the right spot in the first place. 1 Quote

I’ve been thinking about why he such a fancy stat darling. Maybe he’s ***** Bobby Orr but his defense is so woeful that it just looks like he’s really good. Not sure if that makes any sense. I want to like him. I look for the positives. Every game I see something I can’t believe an NHL defenseman is actually doing. It’s baffling. He’s big, strong, elusive, creative. So many tools but the eye test is meh. He’ll the wow you for 57 minutes and have two turnovers that end up in the net in .5 seconds. I’ve always looked at him as high risk high reward. Maybe that’s wrong. Maybe he’s high risk, not a lot of reward. Idk man. He needs to be great. I don’t think we see it enough when it matters. Quote
North Buffalo Posted Saturday at 11:36 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:36 PM Sabres stick handle way too much instead of passing... then get forced into a bad pass. Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted Saturday at 11:36 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:36 PM So Samuelsson can't score or play defense, why is he here again? Quote
DarthEbriate Posted Saturday at 11:37 PM Author Report Posted Saturday at 11:37 PM Hey, Edmonton! You’re up a goal in the third period. You’re not allowed to possess the puck in the offensive zone and cycle it for entire shift. Or at least, that’s what my owner and GM and coach have told me. 1 Quote
