These low camera angles with the arena rising up in the background reminded me of the iconic photo of the Sabres coming together at the Aud after beating the Soviets, 12-6. I couldn't find it but here's a similar shot. Back when there was pride in Sabres hockey.

Never cared much for the 1970 originals - dull blue/green’Ish color with hockey rink/stick/C eye-test type logo. Especially when the Sabres had the brilliant charging Buffalo and crossed swords with beautiful blue and gold and white.  

Then the Canucks came up with BIG V Pajama Uni’s.  Ugh.  Crash and burn.

Yeah, those flying V uniforms are probably the worst of all time. Especially the yellow one.

I continue to find it incredible that it has just become an accepted part of the game that a stick is likely to break at an inopportune moment.
