Anyone else hoping the Bills loss will make Pegula angry enough to want to fire someone and that someone will be Adams?

Unfortunately, it will most likely look like:

-- Oh good, the silver lining of the end of the NFL season is that Pegula can focus on the improving the Sabres.

2 hours later.

-- Good god! No! Stop trying to improve the Sabres! Please.

I personally don't agree with the "If they are going to make a move I don't want Adams making it".  I get some people want Adams gone, but to me, his issues is not the moves he has made have all been awful, its that there haven't been enough. There should have been more guys brought it. More signings. More trades.

The ones he has made...first...were they all him? How much input from the rest of the hockey dept was there? how much input from the owner was there?  We don't know that, but when I look at the moves, Some good, some bad, some TBD, some maybe on the bad sign of things but the conditions dictated it. Overall, I can't say his moves are awful.

Again the problem is there aren't enough of them, and this moment, as each day goes by and nothing is done, that is more of a mark against him.  But if a move is out there, I don't have a problem with him pulling the trigger on it.  Again to repeat myself, when he does pull the trigger, he's not a bad shooter, its just he hardly ever pulls that trigger is the problem.

No question he hasn't made enough or even the right deals, but he has made some piss poor deals as well.

lol, most likely but there's a small part of me that hopes he wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror and thinks "I just don't get sports at all. Maybe it's time I go to Florida and let somebody else run these things and just let my accountants look at the balance sheets".

Ya gotta dream.

They have been broken since Thanksgiving.

On the even of he last game before Thanksgiving I think they were in a playoff spot.  11-9-1. Over .500. Positive goal differential. Playoff spot. Won 3 in a row and 4 out of 5 coming off of a western road trip. Things were really looking up around here.

Since then 7-17-4 (basically 7-21).  A 52 point pace.

I'm trying to think back, did something happen right at the start of that losing streak that broke this team....as Thorner said...even taking out the streak they haven't been good. It just seems like such an inflection point to be random.

Tage came back from injury.

I’m nearly at the stage where I’m going to have to start laying off on management. How the heck could I be surprised or shocked when we line up an even younger team next year, with a rookie being counted on as a top 6 C, when the idea is essentially manifested by the fan base

We just love the future I think. The promise of it. Is that really all we need, maybe?

Kevyn and Co might be smarter than I’ve given them credit for.

They really have changed the culture.

Now, let’s not be hasty. Kulich should still find himself on a paper transaction to ROC to eligible for their playoffs. And he should be given a chance to win the 3C spot out of camp next season. But if he puts up 2+/60 the rest of the season, including any matchups against Barkov, we should consider keeping him alongside TNT.

Agreed. Love what I am seeing out of Kulich's game... but this is a bit early and he is an unknown entity...   that being said.. if he continues to play like this how do you send him down...

Sending him down is a paper transaction so he's eligible for the AHL playoffs. Give the Amerks every opportunity to make a deep run and give Kulich all the games with ramped-up intensity that he can handle.

BTW thank you for that...  I will admit to not being versed in the AHL/NHL call up and eligibility rules as well and the ones that apply to Junior as well... so I always learn a bit from these exchanges.
