Does the fact there has been no movement actually signal hope?

So, I have been pretty vocal saying I do not want Adams to have a say over our assets or lack thereof... I just don't find him capable... so is the issue simply there is no one that will come here via trade... or at least not that we have to over pay in both assets and compensation (and you know TP isnt having that) or Adams simply doesnt see a problem... (not likely)

OR  is it possible TP's "we are running with who we have" and "the solution is in this locker room" is his way of constraining Adams from making moves because he is contemplating a change (most likely at this point in the off season) . I honestly don't know... But I am hoping it is the latter...

No it’s about Pegula not wanting any pennies spent. They can’t risk a trade that adds any payroll.  When they brought Lindy in cheap because NJ is still paying him part of his salary and didn’t let him bring in any of his coaches because that would cost additional money then the writing was on the wall about how this team is being operated.

My thought all along was TP went to Montreal to get a run down from both Lindy and KA on player evaluations and options. Presumably they agreed there was no offers that would make then appreciably better so best course of action is to improve player value for off season trades and signings.   Therefore the “the solution is in the room” quote.

Contemplating a change? wtf would he be waiting for? I cannot see how not letting a guy do anything because you are thinking of making a change would make any sort of logical sense, even if he was just penny pinching. Surely you would fire him and make one of the other mutts "acting" or "interim" and then constrain that guy. 

My view. Terry was 100% sure they had drafted the right guys and he was 100% sure all they needed was the legendary(?) Buffalo coach and they'd rise to the top instantly. This failure has left him clueless and so he really doesn't know what to do and he's following the old "wisdom" of if you don't know what to do do nothing and see what happens. 

I really just think Terry is lost and clueless at this point but he's too prideful and arrogant to admit it.

thats as fair an answer as it gets... I mean who knows.. but that is as plausible as anything. I know this... I would put down (criticize)  no answer when it comes to TP... cause I literally have no clue what the man is thinking... like none.  Thus I am interested in folks thoughts... thanks for yours

It doesn’t signal hope…..but rather a comfort level with the status quo (despite the blah-blah from GMKA that he’s always looking to improve the team). 

I’m not expecting any new player acquisitions this season or any changes in management in the off-season….Pegula doesn’t care.

Ok, now a real response. I think Terry doesn't really care unless it impacts his rich guy yacht money. Adams, isn't good at making moves and other GMs keep waiting to fleece him. So when they can't, they tend to hold. 

So you have 2 factors, Terry doesn't care enough to put pressure on, especially with the Bills still going. And 2, Adams isn't competent enough in his job regardless of the limits Terry has on him.
