I like Levi being called up to challenge UPL. Sucks about McLeod though who seemed to be figuring something out.

Hate to break this to you but it's obvious UPL is hurt, likely a concussion due to Frankencossak nailing him in the head with an elbow.

And nobody went after him with any aggression after the hit on UPL.  Well Kevyn now has his excuses for another failed season.

I don’t think that will be allowed as an excuse when he is already dead last in the conference and 11 points out of 8th. This season was over in December

He was cruising past the crease and UPL was down reaching for puck and Malkin clipped him in top of the head. It was not intentional

Ehhh.. it was intentional. There's very little these players do that isn't intentional. Malkin knew exactly where he was heading and exactly what could happen. He could have avoided it very easily but chose not to do so.

When a goalie covers the puck in the crease in that manner everyone knows their head will be exposed to contact. He intended to make contact with UPL as he did nothing to avoid going through the crease.

Interesting to hear two points of view on the UPL head hit.    I have seen a lot of hockey games, players will take liberties and act like it was unintentional.  Especially when there is no fear of retaliation.

Let me add to this.  If I, as a lowly beer league level player, know how to do this then so does an all-time superstar like Malkin.
