SwampD Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 (edited) What happened to McLeod? Or did he just realize that he was playing for the Sabres and decided to feign injury? Edited January 18 by SwampD 3 Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 I like Levi being called up to challenge UPL. Sucks about McLeod though who seemed to be figuring something out. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Seen enough of UPL for a bit too? guess they will throw Levi into the fire and see what he can do a little unfair , last night was the first time I would say UPL was a major player in the loss Quote
pastajoe Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Would rather they leave Levi in Rochester and let them continue their winning. The Sabres aren’t going anywhere, let Reimer play. 3 1 Quote

Hate to break this to you but it's obvious UPL is hurt, likely a concussion due to Frankencossak nailing him in the head with an elbow. 1 Quote

And nobody went after him with any aggression after the hit on UPL. Well Kevyn now has his excuses for another failed season. 1 Quote

This season was over in December 1 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 I missed the game. So now I hear Malkin hit UPL in the head? Quote

He was cruising past the crease and UPL was down reaching for puck and Malkin clipped him in top of the head. It was not intentional Zucker got assaulted in from of net with a vicious cross check and no one did anything at all. 1 Quote

There's very little these players do that isn't intentional. Malkin knew exactly where he was heading and exactly what could happen. He could have avoided it very easily but chose not to do so. 1 Quote

When a goalie covers the puck in the crease in that manner everyone knows their head will be exposed to contact. He intended to make contact with UPL as he did nothing to avoid going through the crease. Quote
Pimlach Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Interesting to hear two points of view on the UPL head hit. I have seen a lot of hockey games, players will take liberties and act like it was unintentional. Especially when there is no fear of retaliation. Quote

If I, as a lowly beer league level player, know how to do this then so does an all-time superstar like Malkin. Quote
