The foot traffic seems to be dwindling around here, myself included. 

A handful of faithful still remain. Sadness. 

The last 3 games, I have had the opportunity to watch or at least have on at work in the background and I didn't even bother. Barely into January 😒

I’m not sure why anyone is concerned what the other team’s record is when it clearly makes no difference to this team.  They can lose to anyone and they can beat anyone.  It just doesn’t matter.

Pittsburgh is motivated this year to get started. Hagens > McKenna. Get at least one year overlap of McKenna with Crosby.

This might be one of those increasingly rare set of circumstances where I will watch the game because it is somewhat likely to be on a screen within sight of a barstool I hope to be inhabiting this evening.

Otherwise, if a hockey game is played but I don’t look for it, did it really happen?

I am taking the wife out to dinner tonight so I will miss the early part the game.   

They tend to play to the level of their competition, so every game is a battle for this team.  Maybe some day they will be good enough to dictate the play to their opponent? 

I thought Reimer might get the net but I see UPL is confirmed.

This is me, essentially. I think this is the first year I can remember I haven’t watched a full 60 minutes yet to this point in the season

There's very little to talk about because the franchise has made it clear they aren't going to do anything. All the we need a 2C we need a defensive partner for Power etc stuff just feels pointless. Only old people with nothing better to do (like myself) or real extreme die hards are left day to day. 

Sabres are better than Penguins if they play, but those Pittsburgh vets will find a way if Sabres slack, as they often do. Hardly matters either way. Probably better to tank 🙂

Uh oh, you said the word, basically Voldemort 😜

I used to at least look on here and say "hey, a game, something for me to stream on fubo at work in between patients or notes, etc" but now I don't even care too, and I've been happy watching the games through most of this mess. 

I'll still do the occasional cheap date nigbt with next to zero dollar tix and see if any SS peeps are there, but that's about my extent these days.
