I’ve been advocating for this for a while that it should be a major focus of the organization. Especially with our perpetually young team. I truly believe a lot of this is in their heads and it should be actively worked on as much as their physical skills during practice. Quote

Scottysabres Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM 0 shots on net, 1 goal? Lol is that correct? Holy Moly…… Great win, they showed the dreaded 3rd again, but weathered the storm. Bout time. 1 Quote

Crusader1969 Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM You take a win over Carolina in any matter but they REALLY need to figure out how to extend a lead rather than just hang on Not to mention - how frustrating is the loss to Seattle now? That should be 4 in a row and if they COULD hold the lead they would be 5-1-0 in 2025 but they are only 3-2-1 5 minutes ago, ... said: So, Power is soft as 💩. shrader Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM The espn and NHL aps have that last goal credited to Thompson right now with assists. I’d love to know where they get the data from because I’ve seen a lot of oddities throughout the year. Quote

bunomatic Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Saw the last 11 mnutes of this one. Zero shots on net scrambly as ?@&$ in our own end. Brought back memories of Lindys alamo mode. Oh wait, it was Lindys alamo mode. Quote

I just came in here to ask where in the rulebook does it say McLeod would be credited with that goal. Quote
K-9 Posted yesterday at 01:44 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:44 AM I wonder how long it will take for their sphincters to relax. I’m guessing a while with a lengthy hot soak in the jet pools. Hopefully it won’t require “tools of intervention.” Quote

JohnC Posted yesterday at 01:49 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:49 AM Some quick thoughts on this game. UPL gets the first star. And McCleod gets the second star. Territorially, Carolina dominated the game, especially in the third period. We weren't the better team but I thought the effort was there up to the third period when we seemed to just desperately hang on. I don't know what the stats were but we were not very good on the draws. What's worrisome is the negative psychology of this team when it is stressed. Especially in the third period, with only one shot on net, the players were simply hanging on and playing not to lose. We won against a good team. I'll take it. 1 Quote

Essentially they just assume he doesn’t trip over the red line on the attempt. Im assuming they announced it in the building. I’d love to know where these stats come from. Quote
thewookie1 Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM At the moment NHL.com says its Thompson's goal while their own media piece talks about McLeod's hattrick Quote

McLeod was slashed before he touched it. All the Sabres reporters are reporting it. Quote
