I like that the Sabres are winning, but for people wondering why or why they can't do this all the time....

They are playing a team that has some young guys that aren't the best without the puck (just like the Sabres), and the don't have their #1 goalie behind them to bail them out.

I love the ladies but when it comes to commentating I prefer it be males. Women have that higher pitch and it’s not pleasant when it elevates on exciting plays. My wife agrees. She can’t stand when women are on the play by play.

I was out for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday dinner but was tracking the game on my phone. Got back in time to catch the last five minutes of the 2nd. Needless to say, it feels pretty good to see a four goal lead. If things start to go south in the 3rd, I will make an Irish exit before you good folks decide to come hunt me down and start the stoning (and not the good kind) process...

With respect, Benson is exactly where I want him.  He's developing nicely and I don't see anything hindering him being in the NHL.

I (like you and many others) LOVE the kid and I want him to have a great career in Buffalo.  I just think he needs to get a bit stronger and faster in order to maximize his potential.  He already has great hockey smarts and attitude….just need his body to catch-up.  I also think about his mental state….sometimes he is the only one who has shown some backbone on the whole team.  I don’t want the rest of the team to poison Benson’s attitude.

Maybe not this year.  95 is a good number but a lot of teams are clogged up fighting for points.  It could be less this year.

I think the PBP sounds good, except for the fact she suffers the same problem as her male counterparts: talking too much BS instead of calling the game.
